Following Ali G, Borat and Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen is back to satire the current mess of America. He goes undercover as various characters with unsuspecting guests such as Bernie Sanders & Sarah Palin
It’s of course already gathering controversy!! Airs on Channel 4 |

I was DYING watching a clip of this
"Man, if people heard this, their heads would exploode" "Why, because they would be shot?" I'll find the clip later! |

It started off a bit slow but definitely picked up towards the end.

First episode was hilarious in places but fell a bit flat in others, particularly the first two skits, I got what their targets were but I don't think they hit it in the way they were hoping.
The Kinder Guardians sketch was brilliant throughout though, shocking to think people can actually back that but you really shouldn't be surprised at anything there anymore! Well done to Larry Pratt for revealing himself to be sick, sexist and racist within a few minutes of each other! |

The bit at the end with various right-wing loons reading out nonsense (complete with dropping in Rita Ora etc.) was very reminiscent of Chris Morris's Brass Eye. OTOH, the conversations leading up to that were quite scary. It's hard to understand how people can hold such barmy views

omg that husband in the that second skit with the cisgender hetrosexual white male definitely sneaks off to enjoy some male company and is too tired for his wife
I also stan that art woman The gun segment was one part hilarious, one part truly terrifying which basically does sum up the state of America. Lol at talking about fake news and then reading about kid’s Blink 182s and Cardi Bs - again just summarises the whole fake news thing |

I was in STITCHES but it's so bloody horrifying isn't it?
"Children under the age of 5 also have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink-182 produced by the part of the liver known as the Rita Ora - this allows nerve reflexes to travel along the Cardi B neural pathway to the Wiz Khalifa 40% faster, saving time and saving lives!" I just can't |

Yes *.* It's actually shocking that a congressman would act like that...
Ngl I rewatched the whole episode again. It's the best thing on TV right now! |

This is iconic and essentially important television! Episode 2 has been best for me so far, particularly the sketch about building a mosque to raise the economic profile of the town in Arizona.
