I suspect Miley's team has blocked the release to prevent overexposure so they can launch a big new solo Miley song some time in the future as a 'comeback'
hopefully Adam is trying for a different vocalist and the song still comes out in some form but he might decide it's not worth it or try and wait it out longer |

Ellie Goulding would be perfect actually after hearing the full Mexico version, Miley sounds like Ellie in the song, doesn't sound like Miley

I agree the vocal sounds like it would work well with Ellie, it would just be funny to get another Calvin/Ellie collab out of this song after people were interested in him working with a different artist.
