Are we getting Lorde's set in full??

Posted by: Suedehead2 23rd June 2017, 07:19 PM

They have now revealed that the special guests at 9.00 are Elbow.

The lead singer from Future Islands has a bloody awful voice today.

Going to tune in for Radiohead this evening, although nothing else tickles my fancy bone.

Now to play the Radiohead game - will they, or will they not, play "Creep"? I am going to say "no", but what says you?

Posted by: King Rollo 23rd June 2017, 08:46 PM

I'll say yes then.

Elbow's set is fantastic. They have so many good songs to choose from now. Guy Garvey is such a great showman and really down to earth.

Guy Garvey is one of the best frontmen around at the moment. Their set was indeed brilliant.

Haven't seen Elbow's set yet but will catch up on iPlayer as like a lot of their albums. I most want to see Craig David, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran's sets so hopefully they'll be in full on iPlayer as well.

I really enjoyed the xx, Radiohead, Stormzy, Phoenix and Run The Jewels.

Had Foo Fighters on in the background at work last night, really quite average but good fun - and “Everlong” remains a TUNE.

Foo Fighters and Radiohead were class imo!

The Killers AHHHHHHHH!!!!

LOVED THIS

"They say you play the John Peel stage twice in your career. Once on the way up and once on the way down...

IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!!"

Was I the only older viewer waiting for Barry Gibb to say "And now, welcome onto the stage Mr Clive Anderson..."?
