Just admit the new song is featured in the New tracks section on US Spotify. First time based on my memory.
Well, it's a clever song's name for that |

http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=218275 Vote for I Just Want People to Like Me in this week's Buzzjack Track of the Week! Thank you - I just did although I feel bad because I haven't heard any of the others. That's probably not how it's intended to be. |

I'm not that won over by the new track YET.
I do like UTR, particularly volume 2, but I wish he would start a real album campaign sometime soon to get his music back out there on a larger scale. I will give I Just Want People to Like Me more chances to grow on me. |

I love volume 1. For me - that would be very hard to beat. So many good tracks on it.

We have been totally spoilt in the last number of years with the volume of songs he has released but not everyone is hearing this music as these albums are mainly for the die-hard fans which is probably an opportunity missed

A lot of the songs from the UTR series could have been hits if released at the right time. Obvisouly, it is going to be harder for him to get hits now given his age sadly

Unfortunately his days of having "A hit" are gone. No one will stream his songs for him to get anywhere near the charts.
We can support him all we like but he won't be on any major streaming playlists. So until his next "proper" album is ready, it's a bonus to have new music. Especially new music that is far more eclectic than he could put on a normal album. I love hearing him bouncing around new ideas with these songs. |

The upside is that we get the opportunity to hear these songs , if he was still as successful as he used to be we probably would never get to hear them so it's a bonus for me |

Interesting, isn't it? Everyone has this fate. All the major acts still filling stadiums but do not get hit singles anymore. The usual time at the top is between 6 and 8 years, probably shorter. Coldplay is a bit of an exception. And collaborations like JT is doing them. Rob has always been Special. I have read through some old concert critics (Cologne 2001, the tour 2003) yesterday. "There are people with more and bigger hits. But no one is as charismatic on stage" was one quote. I agree.

His biggest strength is his personality - for some people that's his biggest weakness but it's what we his fans see when he's on stage. His energy and ability to unite a stadium as one in response to him - are what makes him such a dynamic performer. That won't leave him because it's who he is - plus he'll always have his songs - so luckily for him he will always be able to tour around the world. Until he chooses not to I think. I know that's not good enough for him and that he wants to continue making new, original music but he'll always have touring to fall back on. |

Robbie is always good value for money at a live gig, knows how to get a crowd going & create a fantastic atmosphere & we get the bonus of a huge amount of new music on a regular basis, I think you could not ask for more from any artist |

Agree Syd, I heard a snippet too and I had hoped for something else. I loved the collaboration with Avicii some years ago. This sounds strange to my ears, but maybe this is the reason it might be a hit then :-)

I really like Outrageous, I am gutted that it didn't make the tracklist!
Maybe for UTR4 |
