For Example, If I went on the iTunes thread and went to page 24, it would automatically go to to page 1 with posts in this topic up at the top.
This says, I am on page four, but I am on page one, very annoying and I can't read anyone's comments!
Could this be to do with the 'Display Modes' setting? [Found just under the 'New Topic' button at the top].
Make sure it's set to standard because from that picture it looks like you may have it set to the top option?
I love you.
When ever I go to view my previous posts, it comes up with an error message and tells me to wait 40 seconds, then I try again and it happens again... why????
can you give an example? If you paste the link here which is timing out in this way
Board Message
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:
Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 40 seconds before trying again.
Do you wait 40 seconds? We have flood control enabled so that you can't move too quickly around the site.
I do indeed.
Then I have no clue. I'm sure Phil will know what's up though.

is this still happening? I tested on a test account and I do not see this behaviour.
I'm afraid this is happening to me too now. When I click on 'Find member's posts/topic' on their profile, the flood control doesn't seem to want to let me do it. But if I copy and paste the web address 20 seconds later it's all fine
Oh this has always happened to me too now you mention it. If I was to click on 152chris' name to the left of his post and select "Find member's topics" then I'll just get an error message telling me to wait 20 seconds. It's the same if I try to find a user's posts from their profile.
This keeps happening to me to.
oh, let me check at home - very strange as on my test account it is fine !
