Hey guys, can anyone help me with naming a movie based on the following description of events. It's a disaster movie and I remember there's this father and son I think (or it could be a daughter possibly) and there's a solar flare or something and all electricity stops working. I think they manage to start a car and the father drives into the middle of a city and gets caught up in an earthquake which later brings up these creatures or machines and its suggested that they've been underground for millions of years. I've tried to google but I've not had any luck yet. Amy ideas? tongue.gif

Oh and it's probably filmed this century not 1900s.

No it's not either of those tongue.gif I've just rediscovered The Darkest Hour film which I think fits my description. I've definitely seen it but I'm watching it now to see if it's this particular film I'm looking for biggrin.gif
