I'm not surprised that Dear Jessie was the second biggest seller from this lot tbh. It's very different from what came before and would have appealed to a different audience from those who had already bought the album. I absolutely loved it as a kid, far more than I'd liked the other singles at the time and the video appealed to me too. My dad wanted to buy me The Immaculate Collection as a child but I was so disappointed that it didn't have Dear Jessie on it that I made him take it back and swap it for Like a Prayer!
