If they got Posh on board ..... then surely i a US tour would sell out .... June to September..... 2020 .... 4 months .... 60 gigs.... Lets do it ! I mean, 60 stadium dates in 4 months in the same country is erm... quiiiiiiiite something right? I think there would be a much better of Victoria joining than that lol But baby, none of that is going to happen soz |

I went last night and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to (and I've been to loads)
Setlist was slayage, staging and outfits were iconic, they interacted so much with the crowd and they really know how to put on a show!! This post has been edited by Alex!: 7th June 2019, 11:55 AM |

Woman would have been the perfect addition to the disco section alongside Never Give Up & Love Thing. This post has been edited by Voodoo: 10th June 2019, 09:37 PM |

Yeah it would. I also think that If You Wanna Have Some Fun with a nice disco mix could have been quite great at that moment. Sadly, they seem addicted to We Are Family

The crowd loved We are family at Coventry, outside of the singles it went down better than most of the album tracks.

I’d say it went down better than all the album tracks at Manchester too...

90% of the fans there didnt know any of the album tracks.
Including fans in the circle so this cover was a good addition, and they sing it well. |

I find it so crazy that people would go to a Spice Girls concert and fail to warm themselves up by playing the first two albums! It's not like they're going to see someone with an extensive back catalogue
I guess it was a sensible decision to include a popular cover, and if it had to be anything I think We Are Family was the best choice - at this point they've practically adopted it as their own song. |

Ahaha true that, my friend even said 'I didnt know this was a Spice Girls song' lol it does kind of feel like a Spice Girls song tbh
Yes I guess a popular cover always goes down well with the crowds but people stood and danced and seemed to enjoy the album tracks, they would have been fine with another one lol In a way, the spice girls are very privileged that they have so many smash hits that most people remember. I would imagine that not everyone that goes to see a Madonna or U2 stadium gig knows every song, specially as they tour constantly and put out new music constantly and include album tracks all the time. |

That is why I'm happy no new music came with this tour. Dont get me wrong I want new music but an arena tour like xmas in spice world to accompany it would be much better. Please the die hard fans.

Oh, I saw them in Edinburgh this Saturday
+ Nostalgia all over and people sang along with quite some songs. + The place we got in the stadium and soundwise I expected way worse. + They pulled it off as a fourpiece. Not trying to be shady but I didn't miss Victoria that much. + Mel C's voice and joy! + Enjoying VF (again) and the new version of Holler -Geri was a bit stiff at moments. -Not peforming Naked. -The 'you are the best crowd' etc said too many times. -The lines for the drinks/toilets. 9/10 |

I was right at the front of GA in Sunderland and the people around didn't even know Holler. I took a video and all you can hear is me and all you can see is blank faces. I knew every song and got some strange looks singing along to the album tracks haha |

It's normal that people react less to the album tracks though lol.
A lot of people in the previous tours didnt know the album tracks either, and also the singles usually have more impact because they are known by most in the room but also because some people will have a more immediate emotional response. The Return tour was even worse with the solo tracks lol |

Random thought 2:
During Holler, why are Emma & Geri having a cup of tea while the Melanies are dancing their ass off? This post has been edited by Voodoo: 12th June 2019, 06:26 AM |
