• Fred again.. deservedly earns his first chart topper this week with "Danielle (smile on my face)", after coming close twice this year already with "Jungle" and "Admit It (U Don't Want 2)".
• O'Flynn and Frazer Ray's epic "Holsten" climbs to a new peak of #3. It is both artists highest charting single to-date. The pair previously reached #24 with "Satyr". O'Flynn also had a #14 hit last year with Bonobo collab "Otomo".
• Elkka is this week's highest climber. The dreamy and heartfelt "I Just Want To Love You" becomes her sixth top 10 on my chart following 2022's "Head Back" (#8), and a string of 2021 hits: "Burnt Orange" (#9), "Alexandra" (#2), "Euphoric Melodies" (#1), "Harmonic Frequencies" (#7).
• Another talented female producer, Machine Woman, reaches a new peak this week with "A Grove Box Inside a Black Box". According to Beatport, this low key track falls under the genre "Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)".
• After a number of top 20 hits, Dusky finally go the distance and make it into the top 10 for the first time with lush garage banger "Lonely Dulcimer".
• The highest new entry this week goes to (unsurprisingly) Daniel Avery and HAAi whose "Wall Of Sleep" becomes their 2nd and 6th top 10 hits respectively. Could this track go #1 like its sonic sister and this week's longest runner, "Chaos Energy"? Tune in next week to find out.
