Hello there, this is my first topic! I didn't see any topics like this one yet, and I thought that it will be nice to start a small discussion about
VIDEO GAME MUSIC!


In my honest opinion, some games are filled up with really beautiful tracks (no way!), I'm listening to some of them in day-to-day life and
I was really curious which video game tracks do you like and why.

My few favourites:

Baron Dante Phase 3 (Croc: Legend of the Gobbos)
Swipe Swiftly's Wicked Ride (Croc: Legend of the Gobbos)
Tower of Power (Croc: Legend of the Gobbos) (By the way, Croc is an amazing game if it comes to gameplay and music, you should try it in your free time!) heart.gif
Spark Man's Stage (Megaman 3)
Commando Man's Stage (Megaman 10)
Splash Woman's Stage (Megaman 9)
Vampire Killer (Akumajou Dracula X68000 (castlevania chronicles))

LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME.

Best soundtrack for a video game ever! Truly makes me emotional to hear songs like "Zelda's Lullaby" or "Epona's Song". Brilliant, truly a pioneer for video games in every way.



For those who played as a kid, tell me this isn't the most nostalgic thing ever.

The credits of Yoshi's Island on the SNES always make me tearful, absolutely beautiful.

Love the credits tune from Wario Land II on the GameBoy as well.

The music from Donut Plains on the original Super Mario Kart looped through my head for most of the 90s and 00s too. So infectious.

And from Banjo-Kazooie on the N64, Freezeezy Peak makes me think of Christmas every year. Though the music throughout that incredible game was great.

Agree with Ocarina of Time but most Legend of Zelda games have phenomenal music (shout out to the forever underrated 'Wind Waker' wub.gif). Also love the Final Fantasy soundtracks (9 has my favourite soundtrack).
