Correct final, they're both amazing songs, Cardigan is a 10/10 song but Exile is something else, it's an 11/10 song and one of the best songs of the last 20 years.
Everything is perfect about Exile, the melody, the way they sing the song, that bridge, the lyrics especially, personally I comment 100% with those lyrics and identify almost too much with the subject, think it's a perfect depiction of a failed relationship and how the two parts can see it differently, how for the guy everything is fine and there are no signs of anything, while for the girl thinks are not going great and she gives signs all the time. 100% can identify with that. The lyrics in the chorus and the bridge particularly are incredible, the "you're not my homeland anymore" kills me every time...
Also it's a super difficult song to sing, probably the most difficult song to sing... we play it with my band and they insisted on doing the original chords and it's almost impossible to sing

Not my ideal final! (This final is neither correct or incorrect... correct implies fact regarding the ordering of the songs... this is all totally subjective, but anyway...)

They're both in my Top 4 - specifically Exile is third, Cardigan is fourth.

Therefore I've voted for Cardigan, Exile to win!

Voted exile, I adore it but I low-key think cardigan is challenging for my ultimate ever Taylor song atm 😮 a timeless masterpiece ❤️

Hoping cardigan can pull it off and glad it finished ahead of august!

I voted for Exile. I love both of these tracks and they're two of Taylor's very best but, Cardigan is definitely the more interesting band better of the two!
