I think we'll get both on the same night. The single release at midnight and then the Grammy performance in the evening...

I hope we get the performance and studio the same day too If she does perform at the Grammys it'll be epic I'd prefer to have the studio version though, we should do as the US often get the single release on iTunes at the same time/before it's sent to radio. I'm guessing we'll get the studio version and Grammy peformance by that logic.

I was on Twitter last night and a few people were saying that 'Born This Way' is also the title of the first single...
Might not be true though. |

I'll assume they're just using the same theory I was.

It's come from the official UK site:
QUOTE Taking to Twitter at midnight, Gaga revealed the hotly-awaited release date for her upcoming album 'Born This Way', coming your way on 23rd May - with the premiere of her new single of the same name, taking place on Grammy night (13th February). http://www.ladygaga.co.uk/news.php?item=306 This post has been edited by Rain: 6th January 2011, 12:54 PM |

Title & First Post Updated.
I have no idea what to expect! Tonight I will return all the fame and riches earned, with you I'd watch them all be burned I'm Beautiful In My Way, Cause God Makes No Mistakes, I'm On The Right Track, Baby I Was Born This Way Don't Hide Yourself In Regret Just Love Yourself And You're Set I'm On The Right Track Baby, I Was Born This Way. I wonder what it'll be like? Slow, Mid-Tempo or a Pop/Dance BANGER? When you read the lyrics you'd think it'd be a slow song, saying that though, if you spoke the lyrics to Bad Romance before you heard it, you'd think that was a slow song too... Excited! |

The first official single is called Born This way and is being produced by redone. The song is listed in the redone production discovery on wiki. It will be uptempo i say

I was right!
I'm really looking forward to this, even though I wasn't hoping for the single to be titled the same as the album, I still CAN'T WAIT. |

I REALLY hope that's true, but surely GaGa would have put that in the Born This Way Announcement tweet?

I do really hope this is true as well!
Gaga will also apparantly be performing the single live for the first time at the Grammy's 2011. |

So the new release schedule has the song down as a February 14th release in the UK. I don't know what the source is, and surely that would mean the download is released, studio version, on the 13th?

There hasn't been any information on the release date over here yet, or anywhere tbh. So far we only know the day the song is premiering. |

The new release schedule compiler is probably only going on the US date, then.
