Ooh very much looking forward to this - some very open questions which could lead to lots of different answers although I can see myself coming near the bottom tbh!!

1. Name a song with a capital city in its title
9 points: Budapest - Dan17F1, Riser, MrAndrewMan, Scene, Zarate, Jordan Lee, StoneDragon, KingRollo, coi, Dobbo 4 points: Take Me Back To London (Ed Sheeran & Stormzy) - :’), n4yr, Bre, LewisGT, dan-G 2 points: From Paris To Berlin (Infernal) - awardinary, vibe, girlsaloudjunkie 2 points: Havana (Camila Cabello) - jimwatts, SamJudd, Jade 1 Point: Vienna (Ultravox) - Bjork, Mack. 1 point: London Bridge (Fergie) - xajnipi, j*hq, NON-SCORERS London (M24 ft. Tion Wayne) - PeteFromLeeds LDN (Lily Allen) - West Paris (Chainsmokers) - Paulgilb WRONG ANSWERS Sweet Dreams My LA Ex (Rachel Stevens) - M4NGO ______________________________________________________________________________ George Ezra's Budapest is the most popular answer here scoring people 9 points. Recent hit Take Me Back To London scores 4 points. A few overachievers giving us two capital cities with Infernal's Paris to Berlin! M4NGO needs to go back and re-take their geography GCSE however, answering Sweet Dreams My LA Ex. The capital of the USA is of course Washington DC! Not a great start, but given that my initial thoughts were "Left My Heart In Tokyo" by Mini Viva and "Paris Is Burning" by Ladyhawke, I shall take one point!

Disappointed that 'Havana' wasn't a better answer!

6 points: Truth Hurts (Lizzo) - :’), vibe, Bjork, jimwatts, King Rollo, LewisGT, dan-G 5 points: Know Your Worth (Khalid/Disclosure) - Dan17F1, MrAndrewMan, n4yr, Scene, PeteFromLeeds, Mack. 4 points: What A Man Gotta Do (Jonas Brothers) - Bre, M4NGO, Zarate, Jordan Lee, West 1 point: Amazed (Lonestar) - Paulgilb, Dobbo 1 point: A Million Dreams (Hugh Jackman etc.) - j*hq, StoneDragon NON-SCORERS Never Enough (Loren Allred) - Riser Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) (Shakira) - xajnipi Ritual (Tiesto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora) - Sam Judd Panic Room (Camelphat) - coi Bangarang (Skrillex) - Jade WRONG ANSWERS Tequila (Jax Jones) - awardinary Baby Shark (Pinkfong) - girlsaloudjunkie ______________________________________________________________________________ A trio of fairly recent songs scoring the most points here. Nice to see Amazed being picked by a couple of people as that is an absolute tune! Tequila is a wrong answer here for awardinary as it has only spent 8 weeks in the Top 40 so far. ANd also Baby Shark is wrong for girlsaloudjunkie as it peaked at #6! |

I don't follow the charts closely enough these days to pick up on some of those such as Lizzo and Jonas Brothers fitting the criteria, my mind just jumped to The Greatest Showman as I recalled many of those songs sticking around for weeks and weeks on end. If only it wasn't slightly split between two songs

Of course the Spice Girls swiftly saved me *.* 'Look At Me' really stands out as a #2 debut for Geri ahead of a string of #1s!

The Buzzjack poll for favourite non top 20 hit from last year helped me for question 2. Out Of Your Mind stuck out for Q3 as it was part of a well publicised chart battle between Victoria and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Venus (Gaga / Bananarama) just edges out classics by Michael Jackson and David Bowie. Only one non-scorer here! But Venus by Gaga and Venus by Bananarama are two completely different songs! How come they get combined as one answer? EDIT: Yeah thinking about it, I suppose it makes sense as we're just naming a song rather than a specific song. ^That does look a little weird since the various Earth songs aren't combined? I'm guessing some people didn't specify the artist perhaps..
"Venus" was my first thought but I changed because I thought a huge David Bowie hit was a better answer than a Lady Gaga promo single |

I just put Venus for my answer. I was thinking of Bananarama. I didn't know about the Lady Gaga song.
