The challenge is classic. It’s a Supermarket Ball, with the categories all related to grocery shopping.
Here's the 10 minute preview |

How on earth were Kandy and Lala high?! And how was Heidi not in the top?! I was gagged when they announced her safe. Each one of her looks was so good, I thought she was going to possibly win!
I would've gone: Win: Jessica or Heidi Top: Jessica or Heidi, Jimbo, Jaymes Mansfield Low: Lala Ri Bottom 2: Darienne, Mrs Kasha Davis Happy to see Jessica win the lip sync and win $30,000! *_* Shame to see Kasha go after being robbed of high placements two weeks in a row Oh also to add I think that was the quickest victory I have ever seen in a lip sync. As soon as Jessica revealed her breasts it was over for Raja. This post has been edited by Envoirment: 19th May 2023, 10:08 PM |

WIN: Heidi
HIGH: Jessica, Kahanna, Jimbo LOW: Lala Ri BTM: Darienne, Mrs Kasha Davis Kahanna and Jessica, as well as Jimbo, went more simple with their design looks and I thought that paid off among more ambitious and maximalist looks, but I think Heidi struck a balance and also was the best if you take all 3 categories into account as a Ball. No wonder she was mad in Untucked I get it tbh! Kandy I thought was a solid safe, they all had the same silhouette but they all looked good, but Lala had no business being in the top. I would have had Darienne go personally as she hasn’t given a lot, it feels like for whatever reason she isn’t totally there whereas this would have been a bad week for Kasha then she’d go back to killing it probably. |

so sad to see mrs kasha davis go ;( it seems like the queens really misread her optimistic viewpoint as giving up.
my standings would have been: WIN any of heidi / jessica / jimbo tbh. though i was really surprised at jimbo trying to edit herself down. like do the nappy baby sausage look its what we want to see???? HIGH kahanna BTM mrs kasha davis OUT darienne i'm on the fence about there being now LOW placements this season lol. especially the way they spent 2 episodes not giving the extra high position to kasha. |

Agreed. I think part of that is due to Darienne almost finding herself again in a way. With her weight loss and then being put back on after quite a while away from the show. I don't think the cast is a very good fit for her either. She has no other season 6 contestants and aside from Kasha I don't believe she really knew many of the other queens before the show? There's also the fairly obvious production infleunce. With the likes of Kandy and Lala especially being high this episode we're likely going to see them being pushed by production unfortuantely. Plus the whole Kandy/jimbo/Heidi alliance which Lala Ri is part of by extension via Heidi. I'm really sad Kasha didn't get to snatch game - I'm sure she would've killed that. But given her placement the last couple of weeks, it's clear production wasn't here for Kasha. It's no wonder Heidi was in her feelings in untucked. Whilst I was excited when the casting was announced, with how the season is shaping up I'm not sure this is going to be as enjoyable as I thought it would be. |

Generally I'm enjoying it! However I realised that with no comeback challenge it might be a shorter season? A cast of 12 with an elim every week probably maxes out at 10 episodes unless they do some kind of double save - which is kinda weird after the last two longer All Stars seasons. Personally I like to see All Stars maximising their time on screen so I would have appreciated a non elim or two at some point to allow everyone the time to show off their skills.
I can only echo others re Lala and Kandy. A redemption arc is good IF the queen does well enough to justify it, but Kandy was serving Jiggly Caliente and Lala Ri's designed look was fine but her middle one was literally a red dress, 'candy apple' my ass! |

Personally I like to see All Stars maximising their time on screen so I would have appreciated a non elim or two at some point to allow everyone the time to show off their skills. I'm still enjoying it! But I would find it more enjoyable if the queens I really liked got their deserved recognition! I assume they may do a Lalaparuza lip sync episode or something? They've done a lip sync episode in some form or another for the last few seasons Season 13/14/15 & All stars 4, 6 & 7. Usually someone comes back or the episode before was a non-elimination episode. So I assume it's becoming a "standard" for each season now? AS4 had a non-elim episode followed by the Lalaparuza in which added a queen to the cast. So maybe somehting similar may happen? I’m finding this seasons a little unfulfilling in a way. After AS6 was all about redemption like with Kylie, Ra’Jah, Trinity etc I was hoping this season would follow along the same lines based on the cast, but the first 3 queens to go home were already early outs who this season got absolutely no redemption, no storyline, we didn’t see anything about how they’ve grown or what they’ve done post drag race.
I was excited for this season based on all the early outs in the cast we didn’t see enough of originally and it feels like now we’re seeing even less of them! |

It feels a bit pre-determined so far to me. Like they’d already decided Jessica and Jimbo were going to win the episodes before they happened. It feels really blatant to me as well, so it’s affecting my enjoyment a little bit.
I do like most of the queens though - really sad to see Kasha gone so early though that’s for sure. |
