Associated Newspapers lost its challenge to a High Court decision to award £10,000 ($15,000), privacy damages to Paul Weller. The singer and his wife won the damages in 2014 after pictures of his three youngest children were featured on The Mail Online in 2012.
Justin Bieber topped the UK singles chart with 'Sorry' breaking a chart record for the most tracks inside the top 40. The chart featured eight songs from Bieber's new album Purpose, the first time a living artist had so many simultaneous entries. His eight entries saw him break a record set by Elvis Presley in 1957, when he had seven songs in the top 40 singles chart.

    Andrew's Review
Now That’s What I Call Music! 92 aka Now 92 was released as the third and final volume from 2015. It contained 46 tracks and a total of 8 UK #1 singles. It was the volume that introduced us to artists such as The Weeknd, Sigala and Zara Larsson (as a joint collaboration with MNEK).

There was an omitted #1 on this occasion and it was from a major artist at the time, and that was Adele with Hello. It was certainly a surprise as all he music had previously featured in the series, but it stopped from this point. There were very few Top 40 omissions, but some others by artists that previously featured in the series included Natalie La Rose, Rita Ora, The 1975, Shaggy, Nero, Tough Love, Taylor Swift and Foxes to name a few.

There were many artists from this volume that have yet to make another appearance in the series again, these include R. City, Rachel Platten, Grace, AURURA, Jamie Lawson, KDA, MNEK (as a lead artist), Diplo & Sleepy Tom, Felix Jaehn, Pia Mia, Fetty Wap (as a lead artist), Format:B, WSTRN, Silentó (as a lead artist), Joe Stone, Nick Brewer and KSI.

Artwork Rating: 6/10 Good
Nothing truly spectacular for this volume, but a good design nonetheless. The ice crystals and snowflakes makes this a perfect design for the winter season of its release. Certainly aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and a well positioned logo in a neutral shade of white gold.

Disc 1 Favourite: Calvin Harris feat. Disciples – How Deep Is Your Love
This was never my favourite single from Calvin Harris, but it is probably my favourite single which Disciples have put their name to. A great little commercial house tune that was cruelly denied the #1 spot. Certainly a popular song overall in Calvin’s back catalogue.

Disc 2 Favourite: Galantis – Peanut Butter Jelly
So many great songs on this disc which I love in equal measure, but when push came to shove and I had to pick one, I went for Galantis with one of their best singles. This song probably put them on the dance map as a major artist who would go on to enjoy much more chart success afterward too.

Disc 3 Tracklist:
(A concept of what a third disc might look like if other hits from the era were used)

1. Adele – Hello 4:55 {1}
2. One Direction – Perfect 3:50 {2}
3. The 1975 – Love Me 3:42 {20}
4. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee & Grandmaster Caz – Downtown 4:54 {11}
5. Natalie La Rose feat. Fetty Wap – Around The World 3:36 {14}
6. Rita Ora feat. Chris Brown – Body On Me 3:45 {22}
7. Sia – Alive 4:23 {30}
8. Cilla Black – Anyone Who Had A Heart 2:51 {41}
9. Foxes – Body Talk 3:29 {25}
10. Nero – Two Minds 3:34 {27}
11. The Chemical Brothers – Go 4:20 {46}
12. Duke Dumont – Ocean Drive 3:26 {42}
13. Joe Weller feat. Emil – Wanna Do 3:23 {28}
14. Tough Love feat. Ginuwine – Pony (Jump On It) 3:03 {39}
15. Lost Frequencies feat. Janieck Devy – Reality 2:38 {29}
16. Shaggy feat. Mohombi, Faydee & Costi – I Need Your Love 3:36 {36}
17. Stylo G feat. Gyptian – My Number 1 2:58 {45}
18. Ella Eyre – Good Times 3:56 {37}
19. Fetty Wap feat. Monty – 679 3:06 {20}
20. Stormzy – WickedSkengMan 4 3:14 {18}
21. Nick Jonas – Levels 2:47 {46}
22. Maroon 5 – This Summer 3:44 {40}
----------
Total time: 1:19:10

Overall Rating: 5/10 Poor
I’ve chosen to score this volume as poor as it was in fact rather easy to pick songs I disliked on this volume, and less easy to find the ones that stuck out as really good. The fact Adele was omitted from this volume too was a big talking point at the time. I admit there wasn’t a whole lot that could have changed my score I don’t think. Looking at what else was in and around the Top 40 at the time, there wasn’t much else available to choose from. Also, having a DNC song on this volume always raises eyebrows about that decision, which incidentally the first series credit given to Anne-Marie.

Andrew's Best 5 (as of August 2018)
1. Calvin Harris feat. Disciples – How Deep Is Your Love
2. Galantis – Peanut Butter Jelly
3. Kygo feat. Ella Henderson – Here For You
4. Martin Solveig & GTA – Intoxicated
5. Disclosure feat. Sam Smith – Omen

Andrew's Worst 5 (as of August 2018)
1. Rachel Platten – Fight Song
2. Wretch 32 feat. Anne-Marie & PRGRSHN – Alright With Me
3. Ariana Grande – Focus
4. AURORA – Half The World Away
5. Years & Years – Eyes Shut

I struggle to find anything to comment about the Now covers unless they are really great tongue.gif

Overall: 6/10
This is such a strange Now for me. On the one hand, WOW there are some bangers here! Disc Two has some of the most memorable dance songs of recent years for me and - even if there is a fair bit of filler - I do enjoy just about every song on there. Disc One is different because I do love my Top 5 but there's just so much 'meh' on there too. Writings On The Wall and Photograph are such bores... It's also funny how quite a few songs on here only just became hits in late 2015 when they'd been on rotation over here literally months beforehand. Intoxicated, Marvin Gaye, You Don't Own Me, Wasn’t Expecting That, and Fight Song were making waves way earlier in Australia laugh.gif Wings also but that was a whole 2 years earlier (although I think this only became a hit because of an advert or something, so that's less of a shocker) I especially remember Marvin Gaye and Intoxicated getting old by Easter which was when Fight Song was on the radio a lot. I'm not sure why some of these didn't chart until later on in the year (someone will I'm sure) but I always found that amusing :')

Hello, Love Me, Downtown, Alive, Reality, and This Summer are the only omissions I would have liked to make it, but Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had never been on a Now and Adele clearly has enough star power to reject Now. Ocean Drive would have been an amazing non-Top 40 feature too which is a real shame, would have fit perfectly early on Disc Two sad.gif As a whole I do enjoy a lot of the songs here but the crappy songs here fully outweigh the decent songs :/

Wow, I was ready to say 'Intoxicated' charted around April and was just a really late Now inclusion.... but no, it debuted at #5 in August; I completely forgot it was that late. I think it was just held back for a long time like, say, 'Jubel' and 'I Love It' in previous years, and it had taken some time to take off in other places too (it hit the German Spotify top 10 in June, the first place it did so and the only place apart from the UK and collateral Austria).

'Wings' (at first I thought of the Delta song seeing it mentioned amongst 2015 hits laugh.gif) was a #16 hit in 2013 that, indeed, got revived in 2015 from an ad (with an acoustic version). Fun fact that I must repeat forever lest it fall into obscurity is that it only made #8 due to the 5-day chart week with no Spotify included; the following week, it only fell #6 to #8 on sales, but fell #8 to #17 on the official chart as it was only #55 on streaming.

'Marvin Gaye' only hit the ARIA chart 2 weeks before Easter so it must have gotten old fast kink.gif which is not inaccurate but it's still his most decent song

-

I have never posted in this forum before but I may as well contribute while I'm here magic.gif

Disc 1:
1. 5 Seconds Of Summer - She's Kinda Hot
2. Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love
3. Little Mix - Love Me Like You
4. The Vamps - Wake Up
5. Naughty Boy feat. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin - Runnin' (Lose It All)

Disc 2:
1. Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You
2. Kygo feat. Ella Henderson - Here For You
3. Format:B - Chunky
4. Philip George & Anton Powers - Alone No More
5. Sigma feat. Ella Henderson - Glitterball

Both those lists look pretty different to what I'd have picked at the time (oops); honestly the bulk of 2015 is the period of music I'm least fond of in the last decade (albeit probably more to do with my life than the actual music, as 2014 and 2016 are 2 of my favourite years), and these are the songs that have held up better. Not to imply they're just by-default picks though; 'Never Forget You' forever sounds fresh and would be a highlight anywhere, I've really come to love 'She's Kinda Hot' over the years, and I recently realised that 'Here For You' (and its ID instrumental) is, to me, Kygo's one original song where he really excelled and lived up to his potential, and probably the reason I continue to have solid expectations from him even though I've only liked... 1.5 of his songs post-2015.

I'm probably not qualified to rate a Now considering that I own precisely 1 of them, but I will anyway kink.gif I'll give it 5/10 for seemingly doing a pretty good job from what was available (bar KSI and Wretch 32's out-of-place inclusions) and that I do at least like a majority of the songs, but I'm not particularly enthused about it. If 'Two Minds' and 'Ocean Drive' had found their way on ideally in place of 'Wasn't Expecting That' and 'Photograph' that would be pretty cool. 7/10 for the artwork, I like the ice crystals.

All of Martin Solveigs big hits have been slow burners from Hello to Places and including Intoxicated.
