Completely baffled by Jake Bugg being playlisted. Firstly because they completely snubbed him last era (he got R2 support I think?) and secondly because the song was released over three months ago. A complete WTF moment!
Biffy getting their first B-list add since 'Black Chandelier' in 2012, I'm surprised R1 still consider them that relevant tbh. Other than that, what a abysmally woeful update

Poor week overall, but I guess that’s just a sign that not much was available for them to choose from. Nothing insta added from this week’s releases which is the first week in a while that’s happened I guess?
Maybe some artists they could add in the coming weeks are Europa, Meduza, Pussycat Dolls, Dave (unless he was previously) and Harry Styles’ new one seeing as they finally removed Adore You. |

the Biffy Clyro song is amazing, great comeback, so totally deserved
the Jake Bugg support is pretty weird, but at least it's a good song, I remember he realised an acoustic version of it to Spotify 2 or 3 weeks ago |

Four adds? That's pitiful! Unreasonably low and there are tonnes of things they could have included. Take it we're not getting Gorillaz. 6 Music have no problem with it despite Slowthai's recent antics.

I can’t ever remember there only being 4 adds before - I’m pretty sure the usual is around 8 ish.

really cannot imagine a song with Jake Bugg and Cardi B
 but not sure if it will still happen, he said his new album was gonna be more upbeat and fun and have Cardi b on a song, but he said that in 2018 and said the album was coming in 2019 but then it never happened... |
