So this was a surprise - in more ways than one! Santigold surprise released it, I was just casually going for a walk with Spotify as you do, and this pops up on my screen as a new release I might be interested in. And the other surprise was just how much of a bop it is and made me listen with glee laugh.gif Not that I should've been surprised at that, Santigold is fab. Makes me want to revisit her other stuff as well.

1. Coo Coo Coo
2. Run the Road
3. Wha' You Feel Like
4. I Don't Want
5. Valley of the Dolls
6. Why Me
7. Crashing Your Party
8. Don't Blame Me (feat. Shenseea)
9. A Perfect Life
10. Gold Fire

Yeah I can see that. I just looked it up tho and she said this: 'But this was different—quick, fun. A lot of songs on this record I wrote in the studio. I was thinking of it as a mixtape. The whole point was: These are the issues on my mind right now. Just throw it down. Don’t be too precious about the lyrics. That’s why I called it The Gold Fire Sessions, because it’s a collection of songs from the moment. “Gold Fire” is the name of one of those songs, and it’s about a burning fire inside that you can’t put out—a passion for fighting for what you believe in.'

Loved 'Disparate Youth' back in the day! Should have been a hit, especially after it featured on that advert!
