Pleased with that Hotel Transylvania win, both films have been heaps of fun and way better then I expected, monster characters are always fun too
Argo taking home the script award is very deserved too, SLP was my top choice but I was so impressed with Argo when I saw it, one of the better Best Picture winners in recent years imo! |

SUPPORTING ACTOR
1. The Hunger Games – Liam Hemsworth (3,0) 2. The Impossible – Tom Holland (2,2) 3. Django Unchained – Christoph Waltz (2,1) 4. The Hunger Games – Woody Harrelson (1,4) 5. The Master – Phillip Seymour Hoffman (1,2) This one surprises me (and Jonjo too seemingly ) as Liam Hemsworth picks up the award for his role as Gale in the first Hunger Games movie. IMO there's more to the part that Woody Harrelson is playing, and he does indeed have the most overall support but everyone else preferred at least one other. |

Omg lol at Liam Hemsworth winning supporting actor here, the one place where being hot gets you an acting award
Waltz & Hoffman have two of the acting performances of the decade so far, for me. The former is utterly terrifying and the latter so realistic, it's a shame they both couldn't win at the Oscars and tie like Streisand/Hepburn |

!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom Holland was my top choice but that category really was weak af from the ones I've seen! Liam was good but nowhere near best of the year |

Liam was so BEIGE in that franchise! Woody definitely should have got it out of the 'Hunger Games' choices. But in all honesty, it should've been Tom Holland's </3 He was SOOOOO good in 'The Impossible'.
Christoph Waltz should've been 2nd, too! He was the highlight of 'Django', well, that wasn't Leonardo ofc. EDIT: I've not seen 'The Master' so can't comment on PSH performance. I've heard very good things though, but I'm not really bothered about seeing it. |

SUPPORTING ACTRESS
1. Les Miserables – Anne Hathaway (4,1) 2. Les Miserables – Samantha Barks (3,0) 3. The Avengers – Scarlett Johansson (1,3) 4. Pitch Perfect – Rebel Wilson (1,1) 5. The Hunger Games – Elizabeth Banks (0,4) Anne and Samantha decided to share the love tonight as the actual Oscar winner is triumphant here. Elizabeth Banks does very similar to Woody, plenty of top 2 placings but held back by being the second favourite for many. |

Yes at Anne winning, the amount of emotion she put into IDAD was phenomenal (a bit gutted that didn't win song too ). Samantha Barks was a great runner-up too, Les Mis should have got more acting awards attention irl in my opinion (Helena Bonham Carter & Sacha Baron Cohen were fantastic too )
Also, I retract my statement about Christoph Waltz. I haven't even seen Django and thought it was Inglourious Basterds nominated here for some reaon... LOL if I voted for him without thinking |

That category was seriously tough though. All deserved the win for various reasons.

DIRECTOR
1. Argo – Ben Affleck (3,2) 2. The Avengers – Joss Whedon (3,1) 3. Silver Linings Playbook – David O’Russell (1,2) =4. The Dark Knight Rises – Christopher Nolan (1,1) =4. The Impossible – J.A. Bayona (1,1) 6. Les Miserables – Tom Hooper (0,2) Following on from the script win, Argo takes home another award, this time for directing. Will it be able to top this off with a Best Picture victory at the end of the night? |

Affleck did a brilliant job injecting so much tension into Argo, a very deserving winner there! I think it's got a good chance of taking Picture later now surely, I was expecting SLP/Les Mis to be more popular but seems not

Another category in which all the nominations are deserved and I don't think I'd be annoyed at ANY of them winning! I actually can't remember what I voted! :') I THINK it was an Avengers/Dark Knight 1-2.
