Pronouns: he/him Joined: 19 April 2011 Posts: 121,480 User: 13,530	There's no confirmation just yet but there are numerous signs pointing towards Mercy being single 2 from Shawn's second album Illuminate (and if it turns out to be a different song, I'll edit this ). It's been given a few Radio 1 plays since its Friday release (unlike the previous two instant grats) and has single artwork! Really hoping this does turn out to be true, it's a fantastic song and would be another big hit for him I think, and a notable change in pace compared to his previous hits. G2CyBwJtLNs

Never thought I'd see the day. This is me too! This is another very good song, I really like all of his singles from Stitches onwards now and this doesn't break the run. I love the sound of this and Treat You Better in particular, they both make use of the guitar sounds particularly found in those deep tropical house songs which I love. I'm loving this sound of music in general when you factor in Say You Won't Let Go, Starving and On Purpose (Sabrina Carpenter) who both ride this acoustic-type sound to varying degrees.
