So I'll begin to reveal the results for you all! Sorry I'm late, my work roster has been a mess.
10th Place 16 Points "BETTER LEFT UNSAID" from Yours Truly. This catchy, dreamy anthem was Ariana's first glimpse into the EDM world, I always thought it could have been a good bridge between the "Yours Truly" and "My Everything". However due to much strong competition "Better Left Unsaid" is our first out, suffering low scores from all participants. Highest Scores: (3 Points) Cameron, All Is Vanity. and Theo Lowest Scores: (1 Point) Jay |

Not surprised to see Better Left Unsaid last. Great song but nowhere near the quality of some of the My Everything/Dangerous Woman album tracks.

Have to agree with the Better Left Unsaid feedback!
9th Place 28 Points "JUST A LITTLE BIT OF YOUR HEART" from My Everything. I'll just leave her Grammy's "Adele" moment here. Coming in at 9th, although not a first choice for me, with the Grammy performance and the fact the radios would probably have swallowed it up because it was written by Harry Styles; it's not hard to see why this beautiful ballad made the final. Highest Score: (8 Points) All Is Vanity. Lowest Scores: (1 Point) Juliano, Cameron and Theo |

It's sad to see Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart leave so early It was actually my stand-out track upon first listen of My Everything.

8th Place
28 Points With the same amount of points as 9th place, however receiving the full 12 points from Cameron, 'Tattooed Heart' snatches 8th place. It's another beautiful ballad, also another 'Yours Truly' finalist out early. Definitely one of the highlights of the album, maybe could have been a "Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out" sized hit in the UK? Also with the big promo it got in the US maybe it could have been a smash there too if it was sent to radio. "TATTOOED HEART" from Yours Truly. Another big moment! Highest Score: (12 Points) Cameron Lowest Scores: (1 Point) LewisGT and HarryApa |

7th Place
32 Points Creeping closer to the center of the pack is her Beyoncé/Scandi ballad moment from My Everything. For me it's the strongest ballad from the album and one of the strongest of her career and I think a lot of people agree. I could see great hit potential in this and seeing it's track list placement on the album, it's hard to imagine it was not ever considered by the label as a single, especially with such a major collab with hitmakers Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco. It's our first track not to receive a 1 point (really feeling I should have added an 11th participant so we could have done nul points). It's highest score was 8 points from Cameron, with most other participants ranking it in the middle. Who do you think will be out next? Still in: Piano Break Your Heart Right Back Bad Decisions Be Alright Greedy "WHY TRY" from My Everything. Highest Score: (8 Points) Cameron Lowest Score: (2 Points) All Is Vanity. |

Apart from JALBOYHd I'm happy with what's dropped out so far.
Not a clue what will go next, if I had to guess, Thinking Bout You maybe. |

34 Points So Lewis was correct, the unarguably beautiful Thinking Bout You is out next, our first loss from Dangerous Woman, proving just how strong of an album it really is! Leaving at this stage, oddly means that it has not performed as well as Wildcard "Bad Decisions", however this is probably due to the fact that both are single worthy, although I do agree that Bad Decisions IS the slightly stronger track. I could have seen Thinking Bout You rounding off the Dangerous Woman era nicely had the era had a single run similar to as follows: Focus - Dangerous Woman - Into You - Side To Side - Greedy - Be Alright - Bad Decisions - Thinking Bout You and probably would have been a "Taylor Swift - New Romantics" sized hit if it was released at that point. I also can imagine it would have had a stunning music video. It managed to snatch a 12 points from Jay but received the lowest mark from All Is Vanity. We are definitely entering Marmite territory with these middle tracks. "THINKING BOUT YOU" from Dangerous Woman. Highest Score: (12 Points) Jay Lowest Score: (1 Point) All Is Vanity. 5th Place
48 Points With quite a bit jump in points, but a close call with the next few, we enter the Top 5 with the first of 5 outstanding tracks, each of which I firmly believe should definitely have received single treatment. Piano is such a joyous, catchy tune, it make's you want to dance, don't it make you wanna dance? For me, it's definitely one of the strongest tracks on the album, but it is interesting to wonder how this would have been received by radios and the GP at this point of her career, I'd like to believe it had the potential to match the success of say "Dear Future Husband". I can tell that the label really wanted to promote her more R&B tracks first, similarly to how they promoted Everyday, instead of well... anything else. In the end it received a well deserved 3, 10 points and did not get a 1. Yay. "PIANO" from Yours Truly Highest Scores: (10 Points) Cameron, All Is Vanity. and Juliano Lowest Score: (2 Points) Jay This post has been edited by Juliano: Nov 8 2017, 07:23 PM |

4th Place
49 Points As I mentioned before this was a very close call points wise! A great sample in a catchy pop number, about a slightly controversial subject, it got the press talking after the album's release and it was performed on GMA. It is definitely a favorite for many from the album and scored very highly among voters, receiving the lowest of 4 points. It would have been interesting to see how the GP would have reacted to the sample in this one. This one out means that the top 3 are ALL from "Dangerous Woman", I hope Ari has been working as hard on this follow up, I know she won't disappoint. "BREAK YOUR HEART RIGHT BACK (feat. Childish Gambino)" from My Everything I know... Great quality right, but whatever. Highest Score: (12 Points) Theo Lowest Score: (4 Points) Cameron |
