There must be significant rise for Chainsmokers ft Phoebe Ryan at the expense of Closer this week
6 new enteries plus one re-entry in the album top 10 yesterday, I'm expecting something similar next Friday. Barry Gibb, Norah Jones, Green Day, OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies, Sum 41, Seasick Steve, Feeder and Placebo all contenders for top 10
These are the best selling new releases according to the Amazon Top 100 (not including second versions that appear):
01. Green Day
02. Barry Gibb
03. Alter Bridge
04. Norah Jones
05. Seasick Steve
06. Kaiser Chiefs
07. OneRepublic
08. Meshuggah
09. White Lies
10. Kate Tempest
11. Kate Rusby
12. Placebo
13. Feeder
14. Sum 41
Just gives an idea as to what the update Top 10 may look like atm. I imagine it's pretty much guaranteed that the Top 5 will be new releases, possibly the Top 7, by the end of the week.
I totally missed Placebo... oops. I think from what I can gather it's essentially a GH collection?
I forgot about Alter Bridge, they will deft make the top ten, there is also The Priests, they usually do well. Kate Tempest should chart as well and I have my fingers crossed for Phantogram. Over on the singles Bruno Mars should do very well, he's already 22 on spotify charts
Yes, its 20 Years of Placebo
Feeder's last couple of albums missed the Top 10, I'm hopeful this one will see them return, the sheer number of new releases this week means it'll be tough for them though!
Would love to see Placebo and Feeder get top 10 entries, big shake up in the album chart this week. I would love to see the same shake up in the singles as well.
Craig David will probably stay in the top 5 but otherwise I can see all new top ten
James Arthur to cross 100,000 combined sales this week? His X Factor looks to have given him a bit of a boost.
James Arthur coming for Leonas Number 1 X factor record:D
Fifth Harmony a contender for #1?! They will be lucky to scrape Top 10
I'd say they will be a contender in a few weeks time.

Ellie really loves that #11 position doesn't she
Disappointing start for OneRepublic
Must be some streaming missing.. Views at 26? Yeah right
Assuming Olly and Gaga will drop by Friday?
So Craig David is #6 on albums?
I imagine Green Day will be able to hit 30k come Friday which is actually better than I expected, given Uno opened with sales of 40k+ four years ago and I feel like there's not really been much hype surrounding their return and no support from Radio 1 or 2.
amazing sales for Green Day, much higher than I expected, guess we're really in Q4 now
also very surprised at Alter Bridge, lol at them selling double than OneRepublic, heavy rock fans are more loyal that pop fans it seems...
Can I please ask where Solange is in the albums?
Solange down to #33
Fifth Harmony in at #60! Hoping big things for this <3
I'm praying Feeder can hold onto Top 10, but won't get my hopes up too much.
Wonderful to see the top 5 albums selling in relatively good numbers with a few days of sales still to come.
Barry Gibb i'm guessing will end up number 2, Alter Bridge sales will mainly be frontloaded
Has Michael Kiwanuka had any publicity other than the 6Music event?
Kiwanukas album is brillant!
Niall at #13, he can climb again!!

Lady Gaga and Olly Murs will definitely miss the top 40 at the current rate they are selling at, so we'll only have one entry this week
All but one of those Top 10 new entries seem safe to remain there come Friday - either Feeder or Norah Jones are on track to fall out to make room for The Shires.
Hopefully Zara manages to remain top 15, but I think unless she manages to get a high profile UK promo slot, this is going to be her peak position which is a great shame considering how fast it was climbing last week!
Why u hide craig david from the midweeks? Ahh i wanna knowww
Fifth Harmony were at #60 in yesterday's update so I hope they've done a massive climb
Both Olly Murs and Lady Gaga can only now fight for a top 50 position on Friday. Olly will eventually climb higher when promotion starts.
Can History make the T100 this week?
Really hope NEIKED can hit the play zone on Friday!
Is Passenger top 15?
Ariana should keep that #4 shouldn't she?
I need Zara top 10...how come last time I checked she was top 5 on itunes and now it's out of top 10?!!

Little Mix- Get Weird back in the top 40

FYI, 'Million Reasons' is just inside the Top 45, 'Grow Up' is just inside the Top 50 and 'That's My Girl' is just inside the Top 55.
Also, Feeder could just be safe to remain Top 10.
The nightmare that is "Controlla" could reenter tomorrow. As long as it pushes "Tears" or "Good Grief" out, I'm happy
News for All We Know & Dan&Phil?
Assumably NEIKED will get a play . Also looks like the battle for #5 is on - I'd assume Calvin and Sia are a matter of hundreds of copies apart.
Feeder will now most likely miss the top 10 and likewise with Placebo for Top 20.
Out of curiosity, do we know what the gap between Feeder and White Lies is approximately? Ta 😘
