A horrible performance from Joshua, just so slow and robotic. The comparison to Bruno is obvious, he can’t keep himself organised when put under pressure and looks all over the place. His movement and stamina is a major concern.

Great credit to Ruiz Jr though, brilliant performance from him.

We'll get probably Andy Ruiz Jr Vs Deontay Wilder instead at some point, either that or a rematch of this fight. Deontay Wilder Vs AJ is a fight that I would have looked forward to watching though so a bit gutted that it's looking less likely to happen.

Claressa Shields will bid to become the fastest boxer in history to win world titles in three weight classes when she faces Ivana Habazin on 17 August.

The American, 24, has held titles at super-middleweight and middleweight.

If she wins the vacant WBO super-lightweight title in her 10th bout she will eclipse male fighter Vasyl Lomachenko, who became a three-weight world champion in his 12th contest.

Britain's Amir Khan claimed the WBC international welterweight title with a fourth-round stoppage of Australian Billy Dib in Saudi Arabia.

Khan floored Dib in the second round with a fierce left hook at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

A rapid combination of punches then saw Dib fall to the canvas again, prompting his corner to throw in the towel.

Dib only took the fight in June after original opponent Neeraj Goyat withdrew after being injured in a car crash.

Anthony Joshua's rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr looks set to take place in New York in November or Cardiff in December.

Joshua, 29, lost his IBF, WBA and WBO world titles to Ruiz in New York on 1 June and invoked his contractual right to a rematch.

Dates have been fixed at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 14 December or a return to Madison Square Garden on 29 November.

A west coast city in the US has also made a late offer to stage the contest.

Two other unnamed countries have also bid for the fight.

British heavyweight Dillian Whyte tested positive for a banned substance before his victory against Oscar Rivas on Saturday.

If the result is confirmed, 31-year-old Whyte could face an eight-year ban, because it would be his second offence.

He served a two-year ban from 2012 to 2014 for unknowingly taking an illegal supplement.

Whyte survived a ninth-round knockdown to beat Colombian Rivas on points at London's O2 Arena.

The WBC has provisionally suspended Dillian Whyte's status as the organisation's interim world heavyweight champion and mandatory challenger to Deontay Wilder.

Whyte tested positive for a banned substance three days before he beat Oscar Rivas on 20 July.

The Briton, 31, will be allowed to present his case to the WBC.

British heavyweight Hughie Fury will face Alexander Povetkin on the undercard of the lightweight world title bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Luke Campbell.

Fury, 24, beat Samuel Peter by seventh-round TKO earlier this month to improve his professional record to 23-2.

Eddie Hearn revealed the fight will take place at The O2 in London on 31 August.

Povetkin has not fought since September's defeat by Anthony Joshua.

The former WBA champion lost via a seventh-round knockout to former WBA, IBF and WBO champion Joshua at Wembley Stadium.

Briton Luke Campbell says he will defy the odds against pound-for-pound king Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday.

Ukraine's Lomachenko, 31, has won world titles at three different weights in a 14-fight professional career.

QUOTE
"I expect me winning this fight some way or form," said Campbell. "Somehow I will win by doing what I do best.

"I've always dreamed of a massive pinnacle fight. It selling out and everybody screaming my name... it's going to be amazing."

Tyson Fury battled to a rugged points win over Otto Wallin as he fought for over nine rounds with heavy cuts to maintain his unbeaten record in a dramatic bout in Las Vegas.

The 31-year-old Briton, a 1-25 favourite with bookmakers, was expected to walk through Sweden's Wallin but a deep wound above his right eye was repeatedly checked by the ringside doctor, prompting moments of stunned silence at the T-Mobile Arena.

British boxer Dereck Chisora has apologised for saying he is "going to kill" opponent David Price.

The comments came just eight days after American Patrick Day died aged 27 after suffering a brain injury in a fight.

Chisora, 35, said "I am going to murder this guy I swear down" at Thursday's news conference before the heavyweight fight on Saturday at the O2 Arena.
