Biography
The Vamps are a British pop rock band consisting of Brad Simpson (lead vocals and guitar), James McVey (lead guitar and vocals), Connor Ball (bass guitar and vocals) and Tristan Evans (drums and vocals). They first gained fame in late 2012 with cover songs uploaded to YouTube, leading to comparisons with One Direction and being labelled as a boy band. They were signed to Mercury Records in November 2012. They supported McFly on their Memory Lane Tour in early 2013, and also performed at festivals around the UK as support acts for artists such as Demi Lovato, The Wanted, JLS, Little Mix and Lawson.
"Can We Dance" was released as The Vamps' debut single in September 2013, which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Their second single "Wild Heart" was released on 18 January 2014 and peaked at number three. Their third single "Last Night" was released on UK radio on 24 February 2014 and digital download on 6 April 2014. Their debut album Meet the Vamps was released on 14 April 2014. In February 2014, the Vamps released "Wild Heart" as their debut single in the US and Canada.
The Vamps have launched their own record label Steady Records and they are working in partnership with EMI/Universal on the offshoot, and the first act signed was the American band The Tide. The Vamps released their second studio album Wake Up on 27 November 2015. The lead single from the album, "Wake Up", was released on 2 October 2015.
In 14 July 2017, The Vamps released the first part of their third studio album "Night & Day", the Night Edition, which debuted atop of the UK Albums Chart, becoming the band's first number one album. - Wikipedia

Biography
Sean Paul
Dancehall superstar Sean Paul began scoring hit singles in Jamaica in 1996 and steadily attracted international attention thereafter, eventually breaking into the pop mainstream in 2002 with Dutty Rock. Born Sean Paul Henriques on January 8, 1973, the multi-ethnic Paul (his parents had Portuguese, Chinese, and Jamaican forebears) grew up comfortably in St. Andrew, Jamaica, his mother a renowned painter. He was a skilled athlete, excelling in swimming and especially water polo, playing for the Jamaican national team in the latter. Although his education was enough to land him a prosperous career, dancehall music remained Paul's first love, particularly crafting rhythm tracks. He became a DJ after he began writing his own songs, patterning his style largely after Super Cat and finding a mentor in Don Yute; he also found contacts in several members of the reggae-pop band Third World in 1993, which helped open up business connections.
Paul released his debut single, "Baby Girl," with producer Jeremy Harding in 1996; it proved a significant success, leading to further Jamaican hits like "Nah Get No Bly (One More Try)," "Deport Them," "Excite Me," "Infiltrate," and "Hackle Mi." In 1999, Sean Paul started to make inroads to American audiences; he was first commissioned to collaborate with fellow dancehall hitmaker Mr. Vegas on a production for rapper DMX; titled "Here Comes the Boom," the song was included in director Hype Williams' film Belly. Also that year, Paul scored a Top Ten hit on the Billboard rap charts with "Hot Gal Today." Unfortunately, Paul had a very public falling out with Mr. Vegas over the packaging of the latter's remix of "Hot Gal Today"; still, it didn't slow Paul's career momentum, as he played the Summer Jam 2000 in New York City, the center of his American popularity.
That fall, Paul released his first album on VP Records; the sprawling Stage One collected many of Paul's previous hit singles and compilation cuts, plus a few brand-new tracks. Dutty Rock (2002) and The Trinity (2005) were extremely successful. Both albums peaked in the Top Ten of the album chart and featured a handful of mainstream smashes. His 2009 release Imperial Blaze featured the singles "So Fine" and "Hold My Hand," the latter a duet with Keri Hilson. The loose Odyssey Mixtape dropped in 2011 and was followed a year later by Tomahawk Technique, a more pop and dance-oriented album with production from the likes of Stargate, DJ Ammo, and Benny Blanco. In 2012, he collaborated with CongoRock and Stereo Massive on the single "Bless Di Nation."
In 2013, he announced details of Full Frequency, his sixth studio album, which was released in early 2014. The Grammy-nominated effort spawned the singles "Other Side of Love," "Entertainment 2.0" (featuring Juicy J, 2 Chainz, and Nicki Minaj), "Turn It Up," and "Want Dem All" (featuring Konshens), which helped push Frequency to the top of the Billboard reggae chart. In the years that followed, Paul would appear on notable singles by Enrique Iglesias, Major Lazer, and Pharrell Williams, but it wasn't until 2016 that he would experience massive chart success, appearing on hits by Sia ("Cheap Thrills"), Little Mix ("Hair"), Clean Bandit ("Rockabye"), and Dua Lipa ("No Lie"). Paul signed a deal with Island Records and returned to the studio to record his seventh album. - iTunes
Major Lazer
Major Lazer is an electronic dance music trio composed of record producer Diplo, and DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire. It was founded in 2008 by Diplo and Switch, but Switch left in 2011. Its music spans numerous genres, mixing reggae with dancehall, reggaeton, soca, house and moombahton.
Major Lazer has released three full-length albums: Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do in 2009, Free the Universe in 2013, and Peace is the Mission in 2015. They have also released two EPs: Apocalypse Soon in March 2014, which featured vocal contributions from Pharrell Williams and Sean Paul, and Know No Better in 2017, which featured appearances from Camila Cabello, Quavo, Travis Scott, and J Balvin, among others. Lazer has also notably produced Reincarnated, the debut Reggae album by Snoop Dogg under his "Snoop Lion" persona. In March 2018, Billboard named Major Lazer as number five on their 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100. - Wikipedia

Biography
North West London rapper Nines drew a loyal fan base through a dichotomy in his music that celebrated the grim reality of the streets while expressing his aspirational drive to escape them. Hailing from the Harlesden area of London, the burgeoning star (real name Courtney Freckleton) steadily built up an audience through a series of mixtape releases. The first, From Church Road to Hollywood, arrived in 2012, and seemed to reference the notorious London Church Road gang that his murdered brother was allegedly a member of. He was awarded Radio 1Xtra's People's Choice award in 2013, and nominated for a Mobo in the Best New Hip-Hop category. That same year saw the release of his follow-up mixtape Gone Til November, but it also marked a period when his career was put on hold after he was sentenced to an 18-month imprisonment at Wormwood Scrubs for unspecified crimes. Despite this setback, the prolific artist went on to release a further two tapes, 2014's Loyal to the Soil and 2015's One Foot Out. Over the course of his four mixtape releases the rapper had increased his profile, thanks in part to millions of YouTube views, and he signed to XL Recordings, which would go on to put out his debut record. One Foot Out was released in early 2017 and it featured collaborations from Akala and J Hus. The record shot straight to number two in the U.K. iTunes chart. - iTunes

Bergling began his career at age 16 posting his remixes in online forums of electronic music, which led him to sign his first record label deal. He rose to prominence in 2011 with his breakthrough single "Levels". His debut studio album, True (2013), featured electronic music blended with elements of several music genres and received generally positive reviews from music critics. It peaked within the top ten in more than fifteen countries and topped the Australian, Swedish, Danish and US dance charts. It was supported by the lead single "Wake Me Up", which topped most music markets in Europe and reached number four in the US. In 2015 he released his second studio album, Stories, and in 2017 he released an EP titled Avīci (01). In 2016, he retired from touring due to health reasons. He died on 20 April 2018 near Muscat, Oman at the age of 28.
His catalogue of music also included the singles "I Could Be the One" with Nicky Romero, "You Make Me", "X You", "Hey Brother", "Addicted to You", "The Days", "The Nights", "Waiting for Love", "Without You" and "Lonely Together". Bergling was nominated for Grammy Awards for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and his track "Levels" in 2013. Several music publications credit Bergling as among the DJs who ushered electronic music into top 40 radio in the early 2010s. - Wikipedia

Levels <3 one of his best
Level is epic <3
By far his best tune. So much better than WMU and annoyed that Flo Rida’s Take on Etta James outpeaked Avicii’s take
Missing the start of the show today oop but I'll be back for like the top 20 x
#36 seems disappointingly low for 'Levels' after the mids but hey at least it's top 40. Not heard that Nines song yet.
So glad Levels managed to make it back in. His best ever song for me
Been loving Levels this week, I wasn't paying much attention to the chart when this was first around so my only real exposure has been through its numerous uses on TV.
Yay, 'Levels' is such a stellar re-entry for Avicii. really terrible circumstances for it to be back of course but hearing this on the radio is making me smile, such an uplifting and infectious song from him that utilises the sample really well.
Levels so annoying to see it on ACR but what can you do :/
I wonder if this ended up outselling Flo Rida - Good Feeling. Seems more remembered anyway.
Levels really is amazing
Great to be able to tune into the chart for a change today!!
Great to see Levels back in the chart. I assume that drop from 4-12-4 was due to Xmas in its original chart run?
Didn't realise Flo Rida - Good Feeling was its own song for ages
The re-entry of Levels is great tribute to Avicii in this week's charts. I don't like most of his songs but I have best wishes to him.

Biography
First gaining exposure as a reality television star, American rapper Cardi B made a quick ascent to the top of the charts with an initial run of singles that made her the first female rapper in nearly two decades to claim the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100. Spitting raw and aggressive rhymes in the traditions of Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj, and Foxy Brown, the former stripper and social media star born Belcalis Almanzar made her television debut on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: New York in late 2015, joining a cast that also included fellow New York rapper Remy Ma. A year later, she made her musical debut alongside dancehall singer Popcaan on Shaggy's "Boom Boom" single. The solo single "Cheap Ass Weave" and the mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 1 soon followed in early 2016. Two more singles, "Foreva" and "Wash Poppin'," arrived that summer. A second mixtape, Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2, was released in early 2017.
That same year, Cardi signed with Atlantic Records and scored a hit with the single "Bodak Yellow," which climbed to the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 in late September, helping her become the first solo female rapper to do so since 1998. Her chart run continued with features on G-Eazy's "No Limit" and Migos' "MotorSport," two additional Top Ten hits that crowned Cardi as the first female rapper to have her first three entries land in the Top Ten of the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. After the release of her single "Bartier Cardi" with 21 Savage, Cardi hopped onto a remix of Bruno Mars' "Finesse." The new jack swing revival track soared to number three in the U.S. and topped charts across the globe. With these singles, Cardi became the first woman in history to have five simultaneous Top Ten singles on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Her official debut studio album, Invasion of Privacy, arrived in spring 2018. Including her two breakthrough singles, the effort also featured appearances by Migos ("Drip"), Chance the Rapper ("Best Life"), Kehlani ("Ring"), SZA ("I Do"), YG ("She Bad"), and Bad Bunny and J. Balvin on "I Like It." - iTunes

Biography
Liam Payne
Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction. One Direction has released five commercially successful albums, performed on four worldwide tours, and won multiple awards. Payne has worked with other producers under the monikers "Big Payno" and "Payno" creating remixes for songs by his band and singer Cheryl.
In 2016, Payne signed a recording deal with Capitol Records as a solo artist. In May 2017, Payne released "Strip That Down" as the lead single from his upcoming debut album. It peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart and number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100, being certified platinum in both countries. - Wikipedia
J Balvin
José Álvaro Osorio Balvin (born May 7, 1985), known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian reggaeton singer. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At age 17, he moved to the United States states of Oklahoma and New York to learn English and was influenced by the music he heard there. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.
His breakthrough came in 2014 with the single "6 AM" featuring Puerto Rican singer Farruko which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. The song, along with the single "Ay Vamos", bolstered sales of his album La Familia (2014). In 2016, he released Energia, which included the hit singles "Ginza", "Bobo", "Safari", and "Sigo Extranandote". In June 2017, J Balvin released the single along "Mi Gente" featuring Willy William. On 1 August 2017, "Mi Gente" topped the Global Top 50 on Spotify, and later reached 1 billion views on YouTube. The song, and its remix featuring American artist Beyoncé, helped J Balvin achieve international fame. In January 2018, he released the hit single "Machika" featuring Jeon and Anitta.
Though his music is primarily reggaeton, J Balvin has experimented with a variety of musical genres in his work, including electronica, house music, trap, and R&B. His original musical inspirations were rock groups such as Metallica and Nirvana. He has collaborated with artists such as Pharrell, Major Lazer, and Sean Paul. Despite working with many English-speaking artists, J Balvin continues to sing almost exclusively in Spanish, and hopes to introduce Spanish-language music to a global audience. He is also noted for his eclectic and colorful fashion sense. - Wikipedia

Levels still sounds amazing, so glad to hear it today but obviously very bittersweet! </3
Familiar is a bit of a bop, easily his best after for you
Big drop for Be Careful but I Like It is slaying
Very low debut for Liam Payne
Ewwwww at Familiar
They skipped Cardi B. Still can’t believe that her highest charting single as a lead artist is an album track
First Liam Payne song I don't hate!
This is... actually okay? Sticking J Balvin on a song most certainly improves it anyway
Getting strong 'A Milli' vibes from the 'famili-famili-familiar' part this is surprisingly pretty good though flies straight in at number 3 on the Liam Payne singles rank after 'For You' and 'Strip That Down' (a guilty pleasure and a half :x).
I imagine Familiar will end up being a big hit though

Biography
David Guetta
France's David Guetta belongs to the sparkling wave of DJs who combine Daft Punk's sleek house music with a pinch of electroclash's punch. Guetta had been DJ'ing around France playing popular tunes, but his brain was particularly rewired in 1987 when he heard a Farley Jackmaster Funk track on French radio. He taped the track, brought a copy to a gig, and promptly cleared the floor with it during one of his own sets. Things loosened up a year later when acid house came to France and Guetta successfully promoted his own club nights. It was during one of those nights in 1992 that he met Robert Owens, a Chicago-based house legend who was touring across Europe at the time. Guetta played Owens some of his own tracks, and Owens picked one he liked enough to sing over. The result was "Up and Away," a minor hit that lurked in garage DJ crates for the next four years.
Guetta's carefree attitude -- that he only produces good music while he's having casual fun -- kept the DJ from releasing anything until 2001's "Just a Little More Love." The track featured American gospel singer Chris Willis, who met Guetta while on vacation in France. Another slow burner, "Just a Little More Love," kept popping up in sets for the next two years, first in an electro version and later in a pumped-up Wally Lopez remix. During this time, Guetta snuck out a bootleg remix of David Bowie's "Heroes," retitled "Just for One Day." Bowie gave the go-ahead to release the track officially, and Guetta soon had a massive hit on his hands. Guetta featured the liberated boot on his first mix CD, f*** Me I'm Famous, named after Guetta's successful Ibiza-based party.
The fun-loving slacker DJ finally got around to releasing a collection of his own productions in 2004, Just a Little More Love on Astralwerks. Guetta Blaster arrived that same year, followed by Poplife in 2007. Chris Willis sang lead vocals on the latter album, which spun off multiple dance singles in multiple countries. f*** Me I'm Famous: International, Vol. 2 was then released in July 2008, giving listeners a taste of the stylish sounds that orchestrated Guetta's summer club events in Ibiza. A year later he released One Love, a platinum-selling album featuring the singles "When Love Takes Over" with Kelly Rowland, "Sexy Bitch" with Akon, and "Gettin' Over" with Chris Willis.
In 2010, Guetta received five nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards, two of them related to the One Love album and the other three for his work on the Black Eyed Peas' massive worldwide hit "I Gotta Feeling." That same year, One Love was reissued as One More Love, featuring a bonus disc of remixes and new tracks. A superstar guest list -- featuring Akon, Lil Wayne, Flo Rida, Usher, Chris Brown, and others -- would figure into his 2011 release, Nothing But the Beat, but this time the DJ's songwriting was inspired by dramatic rock bands like Coldplay. In 2014, Guetta released three singles on his own Jack Back label, all of which were rounded up on that year's Lovers on the Sun EP. Later that year Guetta released his sixth studio album, Listen. Perhaps as a reaction to inadvertently finding himself a sort of unofficial godfather to the burgeoning EDM movement, the album saw him branching out of his electro-house comfort zone, experimenting with elements of hip-hop, alternative rock, R&B, and acoustic instrumentation, and featuring guest artists as diverse as Nicki Minaj, Emeli Sandé, Sia, the Script, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. In 2015, the LP was reissued as Listen Again with new songs and remixes added to the track list, including "Bang My Head" featuring Fetty Wap and Sia.
Over the next few years, Guetta would issue a continuous stream of singles. In 2016, notable releases included the official UEFA Euro anthem "This One's for You" featuring Zara Larsson, which topped the charts in France, Germany, and Switzerland; "Shed a Light" with Robin Schulz and Cheat Codes; and "No Worries" with Disciples. The following year, Guetta issued a handful of additional collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne ("Light My Body Up"), Afrojack ("Another Life"), Justin Bieber (the platinum "2U"), Kiiara ("Complicated"), and Charli XCX and French Montana ("Dirty Sexy Money"). - iTunes
Sia
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (/ˈsiːə/; born 18 December 1975) is an Australian singer-songwriter, record producer and music video director. She started her career as a singer in the local Adelaide acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee in Australia. She then moved to London, England, and provided lead vocals for the British duo Zero 7.
In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, she signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. The project struggled to connect with a mainstream audience, and so Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. She released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She then took a hiatus from performing, during which she focused on songwriting for other artists. Her catalogue includes the successful collaborations "Titanium" (with David Guetta), "Diamonds" (with Rihanna) and "Wild Ones" (with Flo Rida).
In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album 1000 Forms of Fear, which debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten breakthrough single "Chandelier" and a trilogy of music videos starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. In 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting, which spawned her first Hot 100 number one single, "Cheap Thrills". The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour, which incorporated performance art elements. Sia has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. - Wikipedia

Definitely get Dangerous vibes with this one.
I liked Familiar on first listen. I was expecting more than a #34 debut though.
Loving this one now! Guetta has been improving recently
Love this song, probably my least favourite of the 3 Guetta songs in the Top 40, but still a banger.
This sounds... alright on first listen, I guess. Not a patch on 'Titanium' or 'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)', more of a 'Bang My Head' type non-event.
Flames is a bop 😍
Santa's Coming For Us reached #39 Joseph!
I love Sias voice - sounds class. Really like Flames, hope it does better on streaming soon as it's smashing on downloads right now with blanket airplay on radio 1/2/capital!

- iTunes
Martin Garrix
Part of the explosion of Dutch EDM DJs who emerged during the 2012-2013 season, Martin Garrix kicked off his career in a high-profile way, first landing on the dance charts with his 2012 remix of Christina Aguilera's "Your Body." Born Martijn Garritsen, the then-16-year-old DJ spent 2012 remixing Aguilera, signing with Spinnin' Records, and releasing the "BFAM" single in collaboration with Julian Jordan. In 2013 he released his solo single, "Animals," which hit number one in the U.K. and reached the Top Ten in eight other countries.
The following year was a busy one: early in 2014, "Wizard" (featuring Jay Hardway) charted Top Ten across Europe, and "Helicopter" (featuring Firebeatz) did nearly as well. His Gold Skies EP rounded up those tracks, adding two more charting songs: "Tremor" (featuring Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike) and the title track (featuring Sander van Doorn and DVBBS). Garrix also found time to perform and mix the world over, climbing as high as number four in DJ Magazine's Top 100 list. He also worked on new material with artists ranging from Afrojack to Ed Sheeran.
In early 2015, experiments in progressive house led to the release of "Forbidden Voices," which he quickly followed with the Usher-assisted "Don't Look Down." Garrix's busy year continued as he collaborated on singles with Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Tiësto, and later, the Break Through the Silence EP with Russian DJs Matisse & Sadko. After splitting with Spinnin' Records, Garrix launched his own STMPD RCRDS label, which he inaugurated with the single "Now That I've Found You" in March 2016. Months later, it was announced that Garrix had inked a deal with Sony Music International. By year's end, he was named DJ Mag's top DJ in the world.
In addition to "In the Name of Love," his 2016 multiplatinum hit single with Bebe Rexha, Garrix scored another hit with 2017's "Scared to Be Lonely," a collaboration with Dua Lipa. - iTunes
Brooks
Pioneering his own blend of electronic dance music over the past two years, Dutch producer Brooks has carved a solid name for himself with a selection of outstanding originals and remixes which have caught the world’s attention. Brooks has managed to stand out from the masses and gain increasing recognition with his innovative style of rhythmic electro house and melodic future house.
Alongside his clear production talent, Brooks’ ability to showcase a stellar performance on-stage has earned him a reputation as one of electronic music’s most heterogenous DJ’s. From Europe to Asia, Africa and beyond, the producer is maintaining a lasting impression on a global scale. Having performed at World Club Dome and Ushuaia Ibiza and with plenty more on his plate for 2018, expect to see Brooks showcasing more of his eclectic form of dance music with wide-reaching appeal.
With artists like Martin Garrix championing Brooks as one of their favourite DJ’s for the coming months and beyond, it’s evident that this is one young producer who is destined to make a prominent mark on the electronic dance music scene. - Official Website

Omg hype for LSD
I was expecting Like I Do to be higher
Love Like I Do, I love it when songs like this get into the chart.
Flames is alright but I much prefer Like I Do right now! (although Mad Love is better than both)
Fun fact: the vocals of this song were performed by Talay Riley of Look for Me & songwriting fame:
Like I do is also ok, my least fave of the three Guetta tracks charting atm tho!
'Like I Do' sounds like throwaway trash at least 'Mad Love' is good because these other two songs are not impressing me at all.
Like I Do is such a banger it’s growing on me quite a bit
I'm really enjoying this being in the charts, it's not the type of dance we see much in the Top 40 nowadays!
Amazing to see 'Levels' return to the top 40, also it's quite strange hearing a song like 'Like I Do' in the top 40 - SUCH an unconventional hit but I'm here for it nonetheless.
I don't like Mad Love at all but Like I Do is alright. Flames is my fave though overall

Biography
East London-born rapper Yxng Bane specializes in dancehall-infused R&B, but doesn't shy away from blending genres from across the board. Bane first appeared online in 2015, when he began uploading tracks to SoundCloud; the play counts quickly rose, giving him a platform to make music videos. At first, Bane was reluctant to reveal his identity, choosing to hide his face behind a mask. However, the mask was eventually removed, revealing his face to the public for the first time in the video for "Lone Wolf/Pronto," which saw release in the run-up to his debut EP, 2016's Full Moon. The following year, Bane geared up for the release of his next project, Bane of My Existence (aka B.O.E.), leading with the single "Fine Wine" in collaboration with Kojo Funds. - iTunes

Shame this is doing better than Yungen with Jess Glynne, that song is so much better.
Hooray for this continuing to ascend, albeit at snail pace. 'Vroom' is a more appealing version of 'What I Wanna', really! *.*

Biography
American rapper BlocBoy JB emerged in 2017 with a pair of viral hits that highlighted his speedy rhymes and big bass production from longtime producer Tay Keith. Born James Baker in Memphis, Tennessee, JB grew up in a large, single-parent household and would sneak his brother's equipment away to record his own music. The self-taught producer and dancer released his first song, "Goons Coming," when he was just a teenager. In 2017, he issued "No Chorus, Pt. 6" and "Shoot," the latter of which took off and caught the ears of high-profile rappers like Drake. Produced by Keith, the track was featured on his mixtape Who Am I 3, and was recorded in the rapper's closet. As his online audience grew, he issued additional mixtapes like The Purple M&M and Simi. In early 2018, he scored a major co-sign when Drake joined him on the track "Look Alive," which amassed millions of streams within a month of its release. - iTunes

Biography
There has to be some credit given for this band's name alone -- co-founder John Gourley once explained it as an attempt to create a demi-mythic entity bigger than the individual members. Formed in Wasilla, Alaska, experimental indie pop group Portugal. The Man grew out of the ashes of Anatomy of a Ghost, a post-hardcore band whose vocalist and guitarist -- Gourley and Zach Carothers, respectively -- opted to continue working together. Rounding out the new band's lineup was keyboardist/singer Wes Hubbard, himself a veteran of other Alaskan groups, and the trio eventually relocated from Alaska to Portland, Oregon. Their initial existence in the Pacific Northwest was the typical hardscrabble life of a band with few resources, but drummer Jason Sechrist (formerly of Konmai Defense System) joined to form a more stable lineup. The band's profile received a boost from the Internet (the musicians made heavy use of MySpace and PureVolume for promotional purposes), and Portugal. The Man released an EP in 2005 before issuing their debut album, Waiter: You Vultures!, in early 2006.
In 2007, the group (whose lineup had once again reverted to three members, as Hubbard had left and was replaced by touring keyboardist Ryan Neighbors) issued Church Mouth, whose aggressive sound bore traces of Led Zeppelin and Jane's Addiction. The bandmates then opted to finance their third record themselves, drawing upon a wealth of guest musicians -- including trombonists, trumpeters, and violinists -- to create the eclectic Censored Colors. In 2009 the group released The Satanic Satanist, which became their first record to chart on the Billboard 200. They quickly followed it with the mellower and more electronic American Ghetto, and the band signed with Atlantic Records later in 2010.
Guitarist Noah Gersh joined the lineup for Portugal. The Man's 2011 summer tour, and the group recorded its major-label debut album, In the Mountain in the Cloud, in late 2011. Produced by John Hill and mixed by Andy Wallace, it was released in July of 2012. Around that time, Sleep Forever, a 13-minute short directed by Michael Ragen and shot entirely in Gourley's hometown, premiered on the Independent Film Channel. It would be the last recording for members Sechrist and Neighbors, who were replaced by drummer Kane Ritchotte and keyboardist Kyle O'Quin. Portugal. The Man enlisted Danger Mouse (Brian Burton) as producer for 2013's Evil Friends, which was released in June of 2013. They returned to the studio in 2014 with the Beastie Boys' Mike D for their eighth studio album. The recordings were eventually scrapped, however, and the band emerged in 2017 with fresh material via the self-produced Woodstock. Led by the single "Feel It Still," it was named in honor of the 1969 festival and their attempt to "say something that mattered" in a context of sociopolitical unrest. - iTunes

Did Bloc Boy get playlisted by radio 1?
This J Cole 'song' is one of the most drab and monotonous things I've heard all year
Well Portugal must have the record for the most weeks taken to hit ACR then
It's kind of baffling how J. Cole has become such a streaming force with zero big hit singles to his name. Even in the USA he's only had a couple of moderately big hits, yet he's able to pull nearly Drake level streaming numbers. 'She Knows' is a tune but I've not really explored any of his other stuff.
My eyyyyyyes! They burnnnnn! Well, you had a good run 'Feel It Still' after taking a while to become a hit. Not getting old at all
ATM was ok but I wouldn't listen to it out of choice. Feel it still is a bop <3
Erm we still had half the song to go
Well we know that Rudimental and PTM have left the top 10 in exchange for Ariana and Anne-Marie and I hope that Keala has left the top 10 in exchange for Bebe
What a drop for this song! Ouch! A very long run for it though, big hit!
'Feel It Still' still sounds awesome.
(Hyped for Avicii in a few minutes )
And to think people thought Portugal would t become a hit as it was too late to push it in the uk lol.
All the Royals 'news' on UK radio/Tv melts my head!!

Biography
Tim Bergling (Swedish: [tɪm ²bærjlɪŋ]; 8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018), better known by his stage name Avicii (/əˈviːtʃi/), was a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer and record producer.
- Wikipedia

Yay Avicii <3
Could Sanctify have risen, or fallen out of the Top 40?
Nice to see this relatively high up, despite being on ACR
Wake Me Up sounding great today even though I wasn't a fan of this when released/got bored of it after 5 mins!
Wake Me Up sounds fantastic today. I'll miss always Avicii.
Wake me up when it's all over
Great to hear it again though!
One of my favourite songs of all time, I still can't get over it.
Really not a fan of “Wake Me Up” at all but it is a fitting tribute.
If only I Could Be The One was the one
Wake Me Up has to be one of the 10 best songs of the 2010s.
This felt so inescapable at the time. It really was monstrously big, even denying One Direction's 'Best Song Ever' chart-topper status. It is sounding really great right now, what an anthemic chorus and drop.
</3 What a classic. One of the biggest dance songs of the decade and one of my favourites, never gotten old and those lyrics are great, if very sad given events.
Can Aviccis songs move to SCR after this week or likely not?
God these lyrics really hit home <3
'Wake Me Up' is a song that I got tired of very quickly but I can't begrudge it as a good tribute song. Until reading that OCC article recently I'd forgotten just how monstrously huge this song was - over 250k downloads in week 1 and 1.5 million in total, utterly unthinkable now just a few short years later.
Great song, great catalogue from Avicii to be honest. Wish this was higher as well! RIP
Hearing Wake Me Up on the chart again <3333 we just don't get hits like that anymore

Marshmello
Enigmatic masked DJ/producer Marshmello makes groove-oriented, synth- and bass-heavy electronic dance music. In the spirit of other masked DJs like Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, Marshmello (whose real identity remains a mystery) appears wearing a full-head-covering marshmallow mask. Despite the anonymity, Marshmello's career blew up in 2015 when he began releasing tracks online, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now," Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now," and others. From there came shows at New York's Pier 94, Pomona, California's HARD Day of the Dead festival, and Miami Music Week. In 2016, Marshmello released a compilation of his previously released tracks, Joytime, which reached number one on a digital top electronic albums chart. Included on the album was the single "Keep It Mello," featuring rapper Omar LinX. He continued to perform and release singles throughout the year, later starting his own Joytime Collective record label. More collaborations followed in 2017, including "Silence," with Khalid, and "Wolves," featuring Selena Gomez. In 2018, Marshmello paired with British vocalist Annie-Marie for the single "Friends." - iTunes
Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson (born 7 April 1991), known professionally as Anne-Marie, is an English singer and songwriter. She has attained several charting singles on the UK Singles Chart, including Clean Bandit's "Rockabye", featuring Sean Paul, which peaked at number one, as well as "Alarm", "Ciao Adios", and "Friends". 'German' is alright, but sounds terrible back to back with 'Wake Me Up!' :x
I now get the comment about 'novelty rap songs' from last week, I didn't realise EO was supposed to be a comedian. 'German' certainly doesn't sound like a novelty song though? It doesn't have any lyrics that are obviously meant to be parodies like Big Shaq.
Also, get rekt Marshmello. Good riddance.
Fun fact: Wake Me Up sold more than last weeks #1 did in ONE DAY
This is really reminding me of something but I can't think what it is, argh! Somebody help.
(no, it is not 'German Whip')
How many times he sings German in this song?
This is awful!!
Not a fan of this!
That was horrific as well.

Biography
Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986), better known by his stage name Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and entrepreneur. Drake initially gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Intent on pursuing a career as a rapper, he departed the series in 2007 following the release of his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement. He released two further independent projects, Comeback Season and So Far Gone, before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009.
He released his debut studio album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His next two releases were 2011's Take Care and 2013's Nothing Was the Same, which were both critically and commercially successful; the former earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. In 2015, he released two mixtapes—the trap-influenced If You're Reading This It's Too Late and a collaboration with Future titled What a Time to Be Alive—both of which earned platinum certification in the U.S.
He released his fourth album, Views, in 2016, breaking several chart records in the process. The dancehall-influenced album sat atop the Billboard 200 for ten nonconsecutive weeks, becoming the first album by a male solo artist to do so in over ten years. The album's second single, "One Dance", topped the charts in several countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada, where it became his first number one single as a lead artist. That year, Drake lead both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts simultaneously for eight weeks, coming close to a record held by Whitney Houston. Views achieved quadruple platinum status in the US, and earned over 1,000,000 album-equivalent units in the first week of its release. The album's lead single "Hotline Bling" secured him his second and third Grammy Awards, for Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song, at the organization's 59th ceremony.
He released the multi-genre More Life in 2017. Described by Drake as a "playlist", it was his seventh consecutive number one on the Billboard 200, and set multiple streaming records.
Drake holds several Billboard chart records. He has the most charted songs (154) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (24), the most time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks) and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (21). Drake also has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Charts. Alongside his Grammy Award wins, Drake has won three Juno Awards and six American Music Awards, as well as a record thirteen Billboard Music Awards, while also being one of the best-selling rappers of the 21st century, with 86 million estimated global records sales.
Drake has developed other ventures, including his OVO Sound record label with longtime collaborator Noah "40" Shebib. Drake acts as a producer, producing under the pseudonym Champagne Papi. Using the "OVO" moniker, Drake has his own clothing line and his own program on Beats 1 Radio. He has also developed a whiskey, is a restaurateur, and is the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. - Wikipedia

Biography
- iTunes
David Guetta
French electronic music producer David Guetta belongs to the sparkling wave of DJs who combined Daft Punk's sleek house music with a pinch of electroclash's punch.
- iTunes

Biography
M.O
British girl group M.O. (not to be confused with Danish singer/songwriter MØ) rode the early-2010s nostalgia for all things '90s, evoking the look and close-harmony pop-R&B sound of U.S. trios like TLC and SWV. The group was formed in London in 2012 by Frankee Connolly, Annie Ashcroft, and Nadine Samuels. Wise to the vagaries of the music industry and determined to be true to their own musical influences, the group members wrote, choreographed, and self-financed their own material, working with a succession of hip underground beatmakers.
They first came to prominence on the popular online urban youth video channel SBTV, performing an acoustic version of Brandy and Monica's classic hit "The Boy Is Mine" with Lady Leshurr. Further appearances were followed by a slew of singles including "Hot," "Wait Your Turn," "Ain't Got Time," and "For a Minute," each of which racked up hundreds of thousands of YouTube hits and repeated plays on BBC 1Xtra radio. In 2014, M.O. signed a publishing deal with Universal, and had their first taste of chart success with the single "Dance on My Own." A pair of EPs, Good Friends and Who Do You Think Of?, followed in 2016, and the title track of the latter entered the U.K. charts. - iTunes
Lotto Boyzz
Birmingham duo Lotto Boyzz (aka Last of the Trill Ones, aka Ash X Lucas) cut their teeth making grime tracks before transcending the genre and pursuing their own style, Afro-bashment. Ash and Lucas met at a youth club in 2011, where they spontaneously decided to collaborate on a grime track. Their instant creative chemistry persuaded them to join forces, and they honed their craft over the following years until breaking through in 2016 with the singles "Hitlist" and "Bad Gyal." The duo garnered more attention in 2017 with the release of "No Don," which racked up millions of streams online. - iTunes
Mr Eazi
Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade (born 19 July 1991), better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is the pioneer of Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as the mixture of "Ghanaian bounces, Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord progressions, and Nigerian patterns". Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties. He showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on "My Life", a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST. Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape, About to Blow, in July 2013. He gained an international audience following the release of the 2015 single "Skin Tight". He inked a record deal with Wizkid's Starboy Entertainment in May 2016. His second mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, was released on 10 February 2017. - Wikipedia

Biography
Cardi B
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, and producer based out of San Juan. Emerging in 2016, he quickly rose to national success on the strength of his early singles and soon signed with Hear This Music, an agency owned by fellow Puerto Ricans DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz. Appearances with Ñengo Flow, Arcangel, and Ozuna soon followed and in early 2017, he kicked off an especially prolific run with the singles "Pa Ti," "Loco Pero Millonario," and "Dime Si Vas a Volver," amid numerous collaborative tracks with acts like Poeta Callejero, Farruko, Brytiago, Almighty, and others. - iTunes
- Wikipedia

God's Plan actually falling at a decent pace
Cardi SLAYING with an album track!!!
I like it is such a bop 😍😍 hope this continues to get bigger *.*
Bad vibe and mad love climbing *.* hopefully the former will go top 20 asap!
'I Like It' becoming a top 20 hit, yes *.* this is such a banger, Cardi (and J Balvin tbh) is delivering so many tunes. A shame that 'Be Careful' is her worst effort to date though, can definitely see why this is the one taking off.
Is this even being pushed as a single yet?
This Cardi B song reminds me of a rap version of Havana for some reason!

Biography
A pop singer/songwriter who broke records with his debut single, Shawn Mendes was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After posting a series of his cover versions to various video-sharing sites, Mendes earned a dedicated following of viewers. His mix of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's styles also appealed to Island Records, who signed Mendes in 2014. That same year they released the then-15-year-old's debut single, "Life of the Party." American radio initially ignored it, but the track entered the Billboard 100 singles chart at number 24, making Mendes the youngest artist to land a debut single in the Top 25. The song was also included on Mendes' four-track Island debut, The Shawn Mendes EP. The EP performed well, reaching number five on the Billboard charts on its way toward sales of over 100,000, setting the stage for his full-length debut, 2015's Handwritten.
Preceded by the single "Something Big," Handwritten appeared to strong sales, debuting at number one in both Canada and the U.S. The single "Stitches," which was released that April, became one of Mendes' biggest hits, reaching the Top Ten in the U.S. and Canada and topping the charts in the U.K. and Germany. In addition, his single "Believe" landed on the soundtrack for the Disney Channel fantasy musical Descendants. While opening for Taylor Swift on the North American dates of her 1989 World Tour, Mendes and Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello collaborated on the song "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which appeared on the deluxe version of Handwritten that was released in November 2015; the song reached the Top 20 on the U.S. and Canadian Hot 100 charts.
The Top Ten single "Treat You Better" preceded Mendes' second album, Illuminate, which was recorded in upstate New York and arrived in September 2016. Illuminate, which featured co-songwriting contributions from Teddy Geiger and Scott Harris, debuted at number one in the U.S. and Canada, where it also achieved platinum status. It was quickly followed in December by the digital-only Live at Madison Square Garden. Mendes launched a massive world tour in the spring of 2017 and notched another Top Ten single in "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back." Around this time, he also delivered the live acoustic session MTV Unplugged. - iTunes

This Shawn track is mediocre
In my blood 😍
Hooray for 'In My Blood' rising this week. It is a shame that this hasn't become a top 10 hit yet, that chorus is fabulous!
'In My Blood' has the potential to be amazing, but there's just something lacking that I can't quite put my finger on. It doesn't have the same punch as 'Treat You Better' and 'Stitches' had.
Still love In My Blood. It needs to be top 10.

Biography
Jermaine Lamarr Cole (born January 28, 1985), better known by his stage name J. Cole, is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer. Raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cole initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early-2007. Intent on further pursuing a solo career as a rapper, he went on to release two additional mixtapes after signing to Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint in 2009.
Cole released his debut studio album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, in 2011. It debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, and was soon certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His next two releases, 2013's Born Sinner and 2014's 2014 Forest Hills Drive, received mostly positive reviews from critics, while being both certified platinum in the United States. The latter earned him his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album. In December 2016, Cole released his fourth studio album 4 Your Eyez Only. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum in April 2017. His fifth album, KOD, was released in April 2018.
Self-taught on piano, Cole also acts as a producer alongside his hip-hop career, producing singles for artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Janet Jackson, as well as handling the majority of the production in his own projects. He has also developed other ventures, including Dreamville Records, as well as a non-profit organization called the Dreamville Foundation. In January 2015, Cole decided to house single mothers rent-free at his childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. - Wikipedia

I assume In My Blood could rise next week following the video release!!
'KOD' is basically a BTEC Logic track, but it's pretty good.
Ooooh 'KOD' is sounding great, I think I'm preferring this to 'ATM' which was a touch too repetitive.
This Is Me out of the top 10!

Biography
Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer. Born and raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.
His critically acclaimed second album FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), characterized by its diversity in music genres, debuted atop the U.S. Billboard 200 and produced the Hot 100 number-one singles "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". Established as a solo artist worldwide, his first two albums both exceeded sales of 10 million copies, and he continued producing records and collaborating with other artists. From 2008 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus; he held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits, and In Time.
Timberlake resumed his music career in 2013 with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, exploring neo soul styles, partly inspired by the expansive song structures of 1960s and 1970s rock. The former became the best-selling album of the year in the US with the largest sales week, and spawned the top-three singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors", while the latter produced the top-ten song "Not a Bad Thing". For his live performances, including the eponymous concert tour for the albums, he began performing with his band The Tennessee Kids, composed by instrumentalists and dancers. Timberlake voiced the lead character in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls (2016), which soundtrack includes his fifth Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping single, "Can't Stop the Feeling!". His fifth studio album Man of the Woods (2018) became his fourth number one album in the US.
Throughout his solo career, Timberlake has sold over 32 million albums and 56 million singles globally, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. Often cited as a pop icon, Timberlake is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including ten Grammy Awards, four Emmy Awards, three Brit Awards, and nine Billboard Music Awards. According to Billboard in 2017, he is the best performing male soloist in the history of the Mainstream Top 40. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2013. His other ventures include record label Tennman Records, fashion label William Rast, and the restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality. - Wikipedia

Biography
London-based electronic outfit Rudimental originally came together in 2009 as the production name of duo Piers Agget and Kesi Dryden. Years later, they made their debut as artists with their U.K. number one single "Feel the Love." Agget's DJ'ing brought him into contact with DJ Locksmith, who joined the pair, followed later by a chance meeting with Amir Amor at a studio in Hoxton, London. Rudimental's first release, 2011's dancehall-inspired "Deep in the Valley," appeared on garage, grime, and dubstep label Black Butter and was quickly followed by "Speeding" and "Spoons." Picked up by Asylum Records/Warner Music off the back of their first few singles, 2012 saw the release of the drum'n'bass roller "Feel the Love." Championed by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, the single reached the top of the U.K. charts the same weekend as the four-piece played on their home turf at the Radio 1 2012 Hackney Weekender. In 2013, Rudimental's debut album Home arrived. Working with some of the U.K.'s finest talent, including the voice of 2012, Emeli Sandé, the album's mix of dubstep, R&B, house, and drum'n'bass received positive reviews and went straight into the number one spot on the U.K. album chart. Hit singles from the album continued into 2014, including the U.K. number one "Waiting All Night," which won a BRIT Award for Best British Single. Rudimental scored another big hit in 2015 with the Ed Sheeran collaboration "Bloodstream," and geared up for the release of their second full-length, We the Generation, which included collaborations with Dizzee Rascal, Anne-Marie, MNEK, Lianne La Havas, Bobby Womack, and several others. The second Sheeran feature on the album, "Lay It All on Me," became the duo's first U.S.-charting song and their eighth U.K. Top 40 track. The song also went platinum in Australia, Denmark, Italy, New Zealand, and the U.K. In 2017, the pair recruited James Arthur for the single "Sun Comes Up." - iTunes

Lolbai 'These Days'. The worst #1 single of the year for me (thank goodness those have been getting better recently!)
The charts are feeling so fresh these days, I think it's all the random rap songs that never seem to get much airplay - means that we're always listening to something we don't know.
Hooray! Finally out of the top 10
That’s not a bad fall for Rudimental really
This is me 😍😍 boo at this being the only TGS soundtrack still top 40 and falling out of the top 10 but this has outperformed all my expectations I had for it by far! Such an incredible song and one of my favourites of the year
Also the greatest showman still slays, saw it twice again last week *.*
(And guys vote in movie song where a lot of the TGS songs are nominated, I won't promo this again today tho!! )
And finally we get some freshness in the Top 10 I don't actually mind this though!
Yes at These Days finally falling out of the Top 10, worst #1 of this year for sure

Biography
Khalid
Combining a voice that sounds made for classic soul with cutting-edge music, Khalid is a singer/songwriter from El Paso, Texas. Raised by a military family, Khalid lived in Germany and upstate New York before settling in Texas. He was first inspired to make music by his mother, who was a singer and loved '90s R&B artists such as Brandy and TLC. While still a teenager, he began making music in 2015, incorporating influences as wide-ranging as Frank Ocean, India.Arie, Alt-J, and Father John Misty in the songs he posted online. He eventually connected with producer SykSense, who, along with Tunji Ige and Smash David, worked on Khalid's bittersweet breakout single, "Location." Released in mid-2016, the song hit the Top Ten of Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart the following January. Another single, "Hopeless," preceded Khalid's debut album, American Teen, which arrived in March 2017. Later that year, Khalid won a VMA from MTV for Best Artist and collaborated with Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei on a track for the film Love, Simon. That single, "Love Lies," was released in early 2018. - iTunes
Normani
Normani Kordei Hamilton (born May 31, 1996) recording mononymously as Normani, is an American singer and dancer, best known as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed on the second season of The X Factor. Great climb there for 'Love Lies'! This has really crept up on me, loving it now.
Love lies is quite good, had no clue this was so high tho 😂
Love Lies for Top 10 next week
I really don’t like Khalid
This still really doesn't sound like it should be a hit for me. I thought fair enough when it was in the 30s but I really don't get why this is getting so high, it's just so... nothingy
Wasn't expecting Love Lies to be this big, shame really as I feel like it's one of Khalid's weakest recently

Biography
Bebe Rexha
Renowned for her songwriting prowess on hits by Eminem and Selena Gomez, Brooklyn-born singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha started her musical journey at a young age. Performing in musicals from the age of four, she started to hone her music skills in her early teens and was named Best Teen Songwriter at the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' annual Grammy Day event; she met a whole host of famous producers. In 2010, she was approached by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz to form the project Black Cards, intended to reflect Wentz's more experimental and electronic side. Rexha provided vocals to several EPs before she left the band in 2012 to embark on a solo career. She began uploading demos and acoustic covers to YouTube before signing with Warner Bros. in 2013.
Rexha penned several hits for the likes of Gomez ("Like a Champion") and Nikki Williams ("Glowing"), but it was "The Monster" -- her composition for Eminem and Rihanna -- that really caught the attention of the industry. The track reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and allowed Rexha to prepare for life as a solo artist. Following this success, she released her first EP, I Don't Wanna Grow Up in May 2015, featuring the singles "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy" and "I Can't Stop Drinking Without You." As she continued to write for her full-length debut, Rexha scored a hit on a collaboration with rapper G-Eazy on "Me, Myself & I," which reached the Top Ten on the pop chart in 2016. She was also featured on the Martin Garrix hit "In the Name of Love," which climbed into the Top 30 by the end of the year.
The first taster for her solo debut was the Captain Cuts-produced "I Got You," which appeared in late 2016 and reached the pop chart early the following year. Rexha's first album actually became a set of two EPs, beginning with All Your Fault, Pt. 1 in early 2017. A six-song set, it included guests Ty Dolla $ign on the Stargate-produced "Bad Bitch," and G-Eazy returning a favor on "F.F.F." All Your Fault, Pt. 2 followed in August, another six-track set including "The Way I Are (Dance with Somebody)" with Lil Wayne, and other features for 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Cashmere Cat, and country hitmakers Florida Georgia Line. - iTunes
Florida Georgia Line
Florida Georgia Line is an American country duo consisting of lead vocalist, Tyler Hubbard and backing vocalist, Brian Kelley. They have achieved major success since their inception and are one of the most successful country music acts. Their 2012 debut single "Cruise", which remains their most popular song, broke two major sales records: it was downloaded over seven million times, making it the first country song ever to receive the Diamond certification, and it became the best-selling digital country song of all time, with 24 weeks at number one, until it was surpassed in July 2017 by Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road". "Cruise" helped to pioneer a style of country music known as "bro-country", which incorporates production elements from rock and hip-hop music, and tends to cover subject matter such as partying, drinking, driving trucks and romantic attraction. Much of their subsequent music has been tagged with the "bro-country" label as well.
Florida Georgia Line was formed in 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee and began as a covers band. In December 2011, they signed to the Big Loud Mountain label. Their second EP, It'z Just What We Do, was released in 2012 and charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Several months later they signed with Republic Nashville, part of the Big Machine Label Group. They released their second album, Anything Goes on October 14, 2014. Their third album, Dig Your Roots, was released on August 26, 2016. - Wikipedia

LOL at Bebe
Oh ffs FGL, so close to the Top 10!
Beginning to enjoy Love Lies now, quite soulful!!
Love Lies is a tune but it really doesn’t sound this big at all lmao
Oh piss off stalling at #11
LOL at Bebe
Ha! This is absolutely dreadful so it's pleasing to see it stalling at #11. At least the radio edit is not as bad as the version where Florida Georgia Line have the opening verse though
Meant to be being 11 again 😭😭 hopefully this wasn't it's last chance! This has grown on me so much <3
Also this is the first time hearing the Bebe opening verse version *.*
Screaming at BeBe being denied a Top 10 again, hopefullt she learns her lesson by realising this is absolute trash.
Everybody say it with me...
GET REKT BEBE!!!!!
cqmerqn oh my god...
Such a good comment you had to say it 8 times!
Top 10 coming! C'mon Ariana and Calvin!
No more chances for this being top 10 then.
Ffs Meant To Be, still at #11 if only 2002 didn't exist
Cqm !!!
Gutted this won't be top 10 now but I've made my peace. Still pleased it's been such a hit for her after so many years of trying!
I hope meant to be never reaches top 10
Bebe at #11 again !! It's not THAT bad but I wouldn't listen to it out of choice. Would prefer if it was just FGL on their own though, much prefer their voice to Bebe's.
But yaaaaaas At Meant To Be missing top 10 wHY is this even a hit in the first place tho it’s so shit
Bebe Rexha is the queen of country... according to herself!!!
I wanted MTB in the top 10 and “Psycho” out
Can we have more country songs smashing now <3 (especially as Bebe said so herself she's leading and paving the way for pop artists to do country music xxx)
Also I think I’ve said it all about ACR infused drops
I threw up in my mouth a little @ Friends/Feel It Still
Bebe queen of country I’m screaming

ACR for Psycho this week then right?
Psycho is good but I’m getting a bit tired of it now, much prefer it to Rockstar anyway
We’ll have to wait till June for this to hit ACR
'Psycho' has grown on me so much after finding it underwhelming initially! Exactly the same situation as 'rockstar' for me basically
'Psycho' is still sounding fantastic, shame that the rest of the album is pretty mediocre (hoping it'll grow tho)
The Sun could DIE and Post Malone would still be in scr

Biography
Zedd
Born Anton Zaslavski in southwest Germany, Grammy-winning electronic producer Zedd broke onto the European dance scene in 2010 with a remix of Skrillex's "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites." Though known for his glitch, pulsing production, Zedd's musical journey began in the acoustic realm. Raised in a musical family, the future producer cut his teeth on the piano at four years old and eventually moved on to drums and played in a rock band before being drawn into the digital world in 2009. Zedd built a name for himself with his remixes of artists like Lady Gaga, B.o.B, and Armand Van Helden while also releasing his own singles and EPs.
In late 2012, the young producer delivered his first full-length, the club-worthy Clarity, whose lead single, "Spectrum," shot to the top of the U.S. dance chart. One of the follow-ups, "Stay the Night," featuring Hayley Williams, reached number two on the British pop charts. The title track, featuring British pop singer Foxes on vocals, won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014. That same year, Zedd scored another hit with Ariana Grande's track "Break Free."
In 2015 he released his sophomore LP, True Colors, which presented more diversity with genres like rock and rap as influences. The collection featured Selena Gomez, Troye Sivan, and Logic among its guests, and topped the Billboard dance/electronic chart. An international tour in support of the album followed. In 2017, he issued the single "Stay," featuring Canadian singer Alessia Cara on vocals. The following year, he paired with country sensation Maren Morris for the single "The Middle," which topped Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. - iTunes
Maren Morris
Maren Morris is a singer and songwriter whose music bridges the gap between hard country, classic rock, and hip-hop-influenced pop; she has enjoyed success as both a tunesmith and a performer. Morris was born in Dallas, Texas on April 10, 1990 and she grew up with a love of music, saying she was always willing to belt out a tune on the family's karaoke machine by age ten. By the time she was 14, she had learned to play guitar and began playing professionally, self-releasing a debut album, Walk On. Morris had struck a deal with Smith Music Group when she dropped her second album, 2007's All That It Takes; her songwriting was strong enough that she either wrote or co-wrote eight of the album's 13 tracks. Morris graduated high school and was attending the University of North Texas when she self-released her third full-length, 2011's Live Wire. A year later, she left Texas for Nashville, determined to shift her career into high gear.
After winning an "Artist on the Verge" prize at the New Music Seminar, Morris first got her foot in the door as a songwriter, signing a publishing deal with Yellow Dog and writing tunes for Tim McGraw ("Last Turn Home") and Kelly Clarkson ("Second Wind"). In addition, she ramped up her touring schedule, sharing stages with artists as diverse as Pat Green, Radney Foster, and Marty Stuart, and performing for artists in Europe and the United Kingdom as well as the United States. In 2015, Morris released a digital single titled "My Church," about the close connection between music and driving. The song became a viral hit, generating over 2.5 million streams in a bit longer than a month. The major labels in Music City took notice, and Morris signed a deal with Sony Music Nashville, who dropped a five-song EP featuring "My Church" in November 2015. Sony serviced "My Church" to country radio in anticipation of her full-length debut Hero, which appeared in June of 2016. The album hit number one on the country charts, and earned Morris a lot of attention: She was nominated for several Grammy awards, won CMA's New Artist of the Year, and earned a slot on Saturday Night Live late in 2016. During early 2017, she toured (both as a headliner and with Sam Hunt), and released a deluxe edition of Hero that included several bonus tracks. In October, Morris, in collaboration with Vince Gill, delivered the powerful single "Dear Hate," which was written in response to the mass shooting at Las Vegas' Route 91 Harvest Festival, a stage that she had played the night before that attack. - iTunes
Grey
Grey are an American electronic music duo consisting of brothers Kyle and Michael Trewartha. They are best known for their debut single "Starving", a collaboration with American singer Hailee Steinfeld, featuring production work from Russian-German DJ Zedd. Kyle Trewartha was formerly known as Singularity, under which name he released numerous remixes and original tracks to SoundCloud. Their debut EP, Chameleon, was released on 29 September 2017. - Wikipedia

Better
MUCH BETTER
'The Middle' is UNBEARABLE tripe.
JUSTICE IS SERVED
Mess at how many artists recorded this in addition to Maren! I think she was definitely a good choice.
The Middle *.* one of the songs of the year and easily Zedd's best
Out of all those who recorded it, I'm glad we ended up with Maren and she has a top 10 hit to her name
The Middle featuring Maren Morris, Charli XCX, Tove Lo, Camila Cabello, Carly Rae Joesph, Bebe Rexha & Anne-Marie
The middle 😍 Love this so much and Maren slays as ever <3
It would be much better than meant to be for sure
I think 'Starving' was the last time Zedd released something that actually had any positive qualities ~

ANNE-MARIE DEBUTING IN THE TOP 10 WT ACTUAL F
INCREDIBLE debut for Anne-Marie, would never have guessed this would enter in the top 10!!
Brilliant song too so excited to meet her at her album signing tomorrow!!
Well done Anne-Marie! It's a great song for me.
This is already her highest peaking as a solo artist:o
2002 😍 This is fab and I'm ready for this to be massive *.*
(Go enter chart forum pointless xxx)
I like Anne Marie, but good lord 2002 is shit
'2002' is one of my favourite pop songs of the year so far - such a brilliant track and as innacurate as it is, I'm SOLD on that chorus
why is this so catchy
Ugh 2002 is such dross, not here for it being her biggest hit
What a load of pony
2002!!! Underrated on here, doing really well in iTunes and the album is sure to give her an even bigger boost in streams.. exciting to think about where she’ll climb to next week
It’s a bit “Ed throwing darts at the Billboard archives” but it’s catchy
Just found out that '2002' is written by Ed Sheeran, so that explains why '2002' charted higher.
First time hearing '2002', it's definitely nowhere near as awful as it was being made out to be, but I'm not really a fan either. The execution of the references in the chorus doesn't really work that well, just sounds like a messy mish-mash.
Am I the only one who thinks 2002 would be much more liked on here if we didn’t know Ed Sheeran was attached
everyone on BuzzJack acting like she killed someone because of those lyrics tho
TGS and The Shires slaying *.* (never enough getting that five seconds spotlight <3)

Biography
Banx & Ranx
Montreal-based production duo Banx & Ranx formed in 2014, made up of studio mavens KNY Factory and Soke. The two producers craft a sound that blends reggae and other Caribbean influences into a decidedly more club-ready style, focusing their early output on electronic reworkings of classic tracks by iconic reggae artists like Bob Marley, Sizzla, and Capelton. It wouldn't be until the 2017 release of their single "LIT" that the duo would offer up original music, taking the trap-inflected rhythmic touches they'd been adding to other artists' reggae tracks to a new level. Banx & Ranx continued with steady studio work, doing remixes and production for Gorillaz, Sean Paul, David Guetta, and more before the 2018 release of their original single "Answerphone." - iTunes
Ella Eyre
By the age of 19, the powerfully voiced, BRIT School-educated Ella Eyre had already been featured on a U.K. number one single. "Waiting All Night" combined an intense performance from Eyre with the inventive production skills of fellow Londoners Rudimental. Issued to coincide with the drum'n'bass act's debut album Home -- also an instant number one record -- the success of both releases was reinforced by Eyre's involvement in a spring 2013 Rudimental U.K. tour. While "Waiting All Night" wasn't her first appearance on record, it significantly raised Eyre's profile and also helped to vindicate Universal's decision to sign her to their newly established Virgin EMI label. Those who were in anticipation of her debut solo material in the meantime sought out Other People's Heartache, Pt. 2, a 2012 download-only mixtape by rising London alt rock act Bastille that featured Eyre on two tracks: "No Angels" and "Free."
Her own singles soon began to hit the charts, including 2013's "Deeper" and a pair of Top 20 hits in 2014, "If I Go" and "Comeback." By the end of the year, Eyre had finished work on her debut full-length Feline, featuring an array of producers (Ilya, DJ Fresh, Sigma, Sigala). The album appeared in February 2015, peaking at number four in the British chart; soon after, the single "Together" became her third Top 20 hit in less than a year. A 2017 collaborative single with Sigala called "Came Here for Love" arrived in early 2017, reaching number six on the U.K. charts. It was followed later that year by the single "Ego," which featured Ty Dolla $ign. Also in 2017, Eyre participated on the Artists for Grenfell charity recording of "Bridge Over Troubled Water." - iTunes

Answerphone is also a bop, yasss at Ella getting another hit *.*
The Greatest Showman album is still at UK #1! Ugh...
Answerphone at #7
ANSWERPHONE IS SUCH A BOP
So surprised at it taking off so much tho!! I figured it’d be a middling top 40 hit at best lol
Sigala will be up!
That rise for Answerphone
To think 'Answerphone' and 'Mind On It' got released in the same week and 'Mind On It' hasn't even shown any signs of hitting top 40 yet I'm quite enjoying this, Ella's vocals are fab as always.

Lullaby has now hit the same position as Came Here for Love
Lullaby matching Came Here For Love’s peak
'2002' is some cringeworthy garbage but I'm ok with it being top 10 this week as it's holding off Bebe which is even worse. It's getting all my ire from next week onwards xx
(I forgot 'Ciao Adios' peaked as low as #9, was sure it got to around #6 for some reason!)
'Answerphone' is growing on me, quite a bop
Lullaby 😍
slay
Didn't realise 'Lullaby' was nearly top 5, let alone top 10 ?!
It's decent, the kind of song I'd have LOVED two years ago.
'Answerphone' is a big improvement on 'Came Here For Love' for me in terms of Ella features! A shame the weather is back to not suiting it now
Top 5 incoming! I'm so excited now. Let's go Ariana and Calvin!
Wow at Lullaby matching CHFL!! Doesn’t feel anywhere near as big

Biography
Hertford-reared, Bristol-based singer/songwriter George Ezra possesses a deep, resonant, and emotionally weathered voice that belies his considerable youth. Influenced by similarly precocious troubadours like Bob Dylan and Hank Williams, Ezra was just 19 when he issued his debut single, "Budapest," a warm, amiable, and soulful slice of classy folk-pop that invoked names like Willy Mason, Ben Howard, Ray LaMontagne, and Tom Odell. That song, along with three others, appeared on his 2013 debut EP, Did You Hear the Rain? Increased touring and an appearance at Glastonbury preceded his second EP, Cassy O', which arrived in early 2014. "Budapest" was re-released in June of that year, followed a few weeks later by Ezra's debut LP, Wanted on Voyage. The album entered the U.K. charts at number three and eventually climbed into the top spot by year's end, earning him four Brit Award nominations and a North American tour supporting Sam Smith in early 2015. During this period he made his American television debut with appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, increasing his exposure. In April 2017, Ezra announced a "top secret" U.K. tour, during which he would debut new material. It was accompanied by the release of "Don't Matter Now," the lead single from his follow-up LP. A second single, "Paradise," was released in January 2018 followed by the announcement that Ezra's second album, Staying at Tamara's, would arrive in March of that year. - iTunes

Paradise still top 5 how does he do it
we need to stop encouraging Answerphone, just a bland load of nothing made specifically to slot in at the top of Hot Hits UK
ACR next week pls
Paradise is really starting to grow on me!
Paradise has really good legs, in the Top 10 for 6 weeks now.
'Paradise' still top 5! Fab to see some MUSIC in the chart ;o x
It has taken me months but I finally heard 'Don't Matter Now' the other day it's fairly good but it is easy to see why the era truly kicked off with 'Paradise'. What a song.
I still think that the first verse of 'Paradise' could be a Right Said Fred song.
"Paradise" is a challenger for my song of the year so far. At least 2 more weeks until ACR too I think after its increase last week too
I wanted Paradise to be #1 so bad... good that it's still Top 5 though
I jogged to this the other day ... it was GLORIOUS

Biography
Fast like Twista but hilarious like the Lonely Island crew, actor and writer David Burd became rapper Lil Dicky in 2013 when he dropped the megahit "Ex-Boyfriend." Busting out of the Philadelphia suburbs, Burd graduated from the Richmond Robins School of Business in 2010 at the top of his class. A move to San Francisco came next, then he began working on Lil Dicky, writing rhymes, cutting demos, and storyboarding videos for two years before he showed them to the public. He first saw rapping as a way to transfer musical success into television and film writing success, but when he posted "Ex-Boyfriend" and reached a million views within the week, hip-hop lover Burd realized his hip-hop dream was already a reality. The 2013 hit landed on the So Hard mixtape that same year, while "White Crime" ("Walk into the movie with my pants full/Twix, bag of chips, plus a Snapple") dropped in 2014. "Classic Male Pregame" landed a year later, along with Dicky's debut album, Professional Rapper, which featured guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Fetty Wap, Hannibal Buress, and more, as well as the single "$ave Dat Money" with Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan. The effort debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Rap, Comedy, and Independent Albums charts, becoming one of the biggest indie releases of the year. Following a 2017 EP from his side project Brain, Lil Dicky returned with 2018's "Freaky Friday," a collaboration with Chris Brown. - iTunes

This is such a strong top 5 now we're rid of 'These Days' - the only song I don't particularly love is 'Freaky Friday' and even that is decent, the other 4 are all properly brilliant. Must have been a while since there was last a top 3 that I liked this much!
To suggest "2002" is "real music" over "Paradise" is beyond laughable

- Wikipedia

Cutting the song early
'You stupid little winner' *___*
'What the HECK?' *___*
'Leave me the heck alone!' *___*
This is crap, sounds like the kind of the track that'd debut at #28 in 2014 and drop out a week after.
The more I hear "Nice For What" the more I like it. Funny how this 'appears' to have more crossover appeal than "God's Plan" did but is already down to 3 after 3 weeks! Albeit behind 2 monster hits.
Yesss I'm so ready for this top 3 now, a trio of brilliance *.* this really is one of Drake's best songs ever, in fact, might be my 2nd favourite of his after 'Over'
Nice For What still sounding great
Chart run of 1-2-3
'Nice For What' is relatively good - it's a MASSIVE improvement on 'Gods Plan', that's for sure.
My only one problem with it is that it's slightly too noisy... there's just far too much going on in the background to be able to focus on the lyrics.
I genuinely really like Nice For What, whyyyy could this not have had Gods Plan’s success
This is quite good, way better than gods plan!
This is so much better than God's Plan!
PERFECT top 2 *.*
A shame Ariana has to settle for #2!

Biography
Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993), known professionally as Ariana Grande (/ˌɑːriˈɑːnə ˈɡrɑːndeɪ/), is an American singer and actress. She began her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical 13, before playing the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious, and in the spinoff Sam & Cat until 2014. She is best known for her subsequent music career, including hit singles such as "Problem", "Bang Bang", and "Side to Side", and albums such as My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016).
Grande's music career began in 2011 with the soundtrack Music from Victorious. In 2013, she released her first studio album Yours Truly, which entered atop the US Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Way", opened in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, with critics comparing her wide vocal range to that of Mariah Carey.
Grande's second studio album, My Everything (2014), entered at number one in the US and charted in the top 10 in 24 other countries. With the lead single "Problem" and several other singles, she was continuously in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for 34 weeks and had the most top 10 singles of any artist in 2014. The next year, Grande gave her first world tour, The Honeymoon Tour, to promote My Everything. In 2016, she released her third studio album Dangerous Woman, which charted at number two on the Billboard 200. The title track debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Grande the first person in the history of that chart to have the lead singles from each of their first three albums debut within the top 10 in the US. In 2017, Grande gave her international Dangerous Woman Tour and became the most searched musical artist of the year, in part because of a terrorist attack that took place at her Manchester concert.
As of April 2018, Grande's music videos had been viewed a total of more than nine billion times online. Her accolades include three American Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and four Grammy Award nominations. All three of her albums have been certified platinum by the RIAA. She has supported a range of charities and has a large following on social media. In 2016, Time named Grande one of the 100 most influential people in the world on their annual list. - Wikipedia

Biography
Calvin Harris
Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His debut studio album I Created Disco was released in June 2007 and it spawned two UK top 10 singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". In 2009, Harris released his second studio album Ready for the Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was later certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry within two months of its release. Its lead single "I'm Not Alone" became his first song to top the UK Singles Chart.
Harris rose to international prominence with the release of his third studio album 18 Months in October 2012. Topping the UK charts, the album became his first to chart on the US Billboard 200 chart (where it reached number 19). All eight of the album's singles, which were "Bounce", "Feel So Close", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love" and "Thinking About You" reached the top 10 in the UK. At the time, Harris broke the record for the most top 10 songs from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with eight entries, surpassing Michael Jackson. Harris released his fourth studio album Motion in November 2014. It debuted at number two in the UK and at number five in the US and became Harris's second consecutive number one album on the US Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album's first three singles "Under Control", "Summer" and "Blame" all topped the UK chart.
Harris has collaborated with numerous other recording artists. His collaboration with Rihanna "We Found Love" became an international success, giving Harris his first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The two later collaborated on the singles "Where Have You Been" (2012) and "This Is What You Came For" (2016). In October 2014, he became the first artist to place three songs simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He also became the first British solo artist to reach more than one billion streams on Spotify. Harris has received ten Brit Award nominations—three for Best British Male and four Grammy nominations, winning a Grammy for Best Music Video in 2013. He received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2013 and at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was named Top Dance/Electronic Artist. Additionally, Harris topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid DJs for five consecutive years from 2013 to 2017. One of the most successful musicians in contemporary British popular culture, Harris appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the United Kingdom. Harris runs his own record label, Fly Eye Records. In March 2018, Billboard named Calvin Harris as number two on their 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100. - Wikipedia

This top 2 is really incred tho...
IM PICKIN IT UP, PICKIN IT UP, IM LOVIN, IM LIVIN, IM PICKING IT UP
Song of the year.
Calvin Harris, he created disco.
No Tears Left to Cry is an absolute STUNNER, it's done phenomenally well this week and got incredibly unlucky to run into One Kiss really.
No Tears Left To Cry is probably my fave hit of the year so far, really wish it could've overtaken Calvua though. Fingers crossed it stays consistent this week and One Kiss declines a bit.
This would’ve been #1 last week, or any other week this year!
Great to see Calvin remaining at the top spot, great track, legendary top 40 artist now you have to say!!
Calvin, Ariana, Drake all 11/10s tbh all very much deserving #1s
It looks like 'Nice For What' is actually going to have a better sales week this week than 'God's Plan' ever did, despite being #3 - I think it's just as big a hit as 'God's Plan' was, it's just been unlucky to run into bigger competition earlier in its run preventing it from repeating the long run at #1!
Likewise Ariana very unlucky to miss #1 this week, I hope she can climb there in the future, this has already grown on me so much, now my favourite song from her
This is an absolutely marvellous comeback from Ariana a sensational switch-up from her. Originally I wanted the entire song to be as dreamy as the opening, but I am so used to the whole thing now and very much approve. Her best lead with ease! It is so unlucky that she was up against 'One Kiss'
But... it's okay, because 'One Kiss' is the banger I needed in my life right now! That is up there with 'Slide' as one of Calvin's best efforts in the past 5 years or so.
Well my predictions are correct! 'No Tears Left To Cry' at UK #2 and 'One Kiss' at UK #1! Great job Ariana and Calvin for topping the UK charts this week!

Biography
HRVY
Pop/R&B vocalist HRVY was born Harvey Cantwell in Kent, England in 1999. Like many starry-eyed youngsters, Cantwell started out mimicking pop stars as a child, pretending to be Michael Jackson or Justin Timberlake while singing for his parents. In his teenage years he was encouraged by friends to upload videos of his performances to Facebook, and in 2013, with the help of manager Blair Dreelan (former vocalist of pop group East 17), he was soon performing live and quickly signing with Universal Music. HRVY's first single, "Thank You," was released in late 2013 and became a huge hit. Among various tours, appearances, single releases, and other pop star activities, Cantwell appeared occasionally as a guest presenter on BBC television show Friday Download, and signed on as a full-time host in 2016. He regularly uploaded videos to his YouTube channel, including frequent cover songs and collaborations with other pop stars. In 2017 he released his Holiday EP, which included the hit single "Phobia," among other tracks. - iTunes
Malu Trevejo
Cuban-born singer Malu Trevejo was born Maria Luisa Trevejo in 2002. She began her career around age 13 as a social media personality, posting photos and videos across a wide variety of platforms, eventually gathering millions of followers. As her fame grew, she moved from posting videos of herself dancing and lip-syncing to working on music of her own. In 2017 Trevejo signed to Universal Music Group and released her debut single, "Luna Llena," a bilingual dance-pop number with an accompanying video that was viewed over 20 million times within the first month alone. - iTunes

I've got a feeling 'No Tears Left To Cry' will climb to number one eventually.
Calvin so happy this is so huge
So happy how much Ariana has already smashed with this, hopefully it can climb to number one eventually! Already my 5th highest played song on spotify ever and the lyrics, vocals and production are all perfection 😍😍 have had it constantly on repeat since it came out *.*
Aloee Black future hit? Haha no
I like that Ariana Grande song but One Kiss is far superior imo.
Looks like One Kiss will be a 9 week #1, poor Ariana
Post Malone can... sing? Wow, this is really good.
OMG this post malone song is sounding great what...
Oh I must have missed this track when I was listening earlier, what a fab song! Love it when Posty sings
This post malone song is really good 😮
This doesn't sound remotely like Post Malone!
Post Malone king of genre bending, when will Bebe!!
(I already knew that he could sing but that song was really impressive, sounded absolutely lovely )
Might give Beerbongs And Bentleys a listen then after all... I didn't think Rockstar and Psycho were all that great, but they weren't bad either. Hoping Stay will do well, it really is quite good!
Yesss I love this side of Post Malone ('I Fall Apart' is my fave of his) ~ was really nice on first listen I need to check out the whole album.
Apparently, Stay is the next single from the album, I really hope it charts high.
I just listened to the new songs from HRVY (yes, I really like him for his looks and his songs)and Aloe Blacc and they're both great! These should be in the UK top 40 next week!
I’ve just noticed that if you don’t count “2002”, we have an Ed Sheeran-less top 40
