Alyssa Reid has been known for her production-heavy pop singles such as “The Game” and “Dangerous.” However, on November 27th fans are in for a treat as she releases Phoenix, a simple, stripped-down record containing 10 very different tracks. With just her vocals, a piano, and a guitar, this is a side of the pop artist that audiences have yet to hear.

Here is what Alyssa had to say about the new album:

“The release of Phoenix is sure to surprise most. I’ve decided to break away from the ‘polished pop’ sound on this record, and show everyone the more raw side to my writing. Featuring co-writes from all genres, this album breaks down my writing, and strips all of the elements down to the basics, leaving nothing but the story. No glitz. No glam. This sounds like an interesting idea, she's had some acoustic tracks on her previous albums and I've liked them, plus Tomorrow sounds lovely too
