We were introduced to French producer The Avener here in the UK at the start of the year with 'Fade Out Lines' which peaked at #60 in the charts.

Now he releases his debut album, 'The Wanderings of the Avener' which includes original music and reworks of tracks by other artists.

The album peaked at #2 in France, #6 in Switzerland, #7 in Belgium and Top 20 in The Netherlands and Australia.

It's unlikely to reach those same heights in the UK, but I've had a listen and it's a very good electronic/house album!

Tracklisting
1. Panama
2. Fade Out Lines (The Avener Rework)
3. Celestial Blues (The Avener Rework)
4. Castle In The Snow (feat. Kadebostany)

6. Lonely Boy
7. It Serves You Right To Suffer (feat. John Lee Hooker) (The Avener Rework)

Interested to see my recent BJSC entry here as track 4, presumably given a house makeover?
