Personally I think the Lip Sync in the final actually makes the final a bit more worth watching.
Sitting through an hour (Plus) waiting for Ru to say the winner always feels like an anti climax. Series 9 Lip Syncs though were alot better than Series 10... although I think Series 10 suffered in general for being too long in general |

I'm in two minds, obviously the finale is a bit more interesting with the lipsyncs thrown in but last season there was just no point. Apparently Eureka "really" won the first lipsync between her and Aquaria, but they cut it so it looked like it was tied, there was really no big moment between all the lipsyncs and Aquaria was always (deservedly) going to win.
There's also a big difference between being the future of drag and throwing in a stunt or reveal into a lipsync. I think the show and queens rely on that a bit too much sometimes, and Season 9 was marred a bit by the fact that the clear front runners in Trinity and Shea lost because of the lipsync format. |

I think they should have the lipsyncs, but for entertainment purposes only, and still have the winner based on how they’ve performed overall.

Idk I feel like the need some sort of new idea - the finales are boring when they just pick the winner from who was the best, but also unfair when someone can come closer to winning because they can preform better than a dead butterfly despite having an awful track record
I’m not sure what would be ideal, but I’m not a huge fan of either format |

Drag Race Thailand had a great final format, they all had to prepare a performance,so I guess it could have been anything they were strong at, and it was sort of more of a show or spectacle as a final rather than just let's fill time interviewing people for an hour

I personally love the LSFYL format of the final. The season 9 final was amazing and Sasha absolutely killed it. Season 10 was ok/a bit messy. If they do the same for season 11, I hope the contestants try to keep the reveals simple and do them well, like Peppermint/Sasha's reveals. Not like Asia and her butterflies... Honestly if Asia hadn't done that butterfly stunt, the season 10 finale would've been a lot better. One, Asia would've actually lip synced and two, the contestants wouldn't have kept slipping on all the dead butterflies on the stage...

Sasha should never have won season 9, as good as her lip sync was. It completely devaules the work throughout the season. She’s the only ever winner with no single challenge wins and feels pretty forgotten about already.

She’s the only ever winner with no single challenge wins and feels pretty forgotten about already. But she was the only Queen that season who didn't majorly fcuk up a challenge enough to warrant a bottom 2 appearance or lip sync. In fact she was 'low' on just one challenge. Which to be fair is a great run and something that most Queens never actually achieve. Whilst I appreciate Shea had a good run, in the end her final lip sync wasn't as good; same with Trinty, they were outslayed in the end. I guess the 'work' all the way through proves they are worthy to be in the final.. There are pros and cons to however the final is done; however I do think Sasha was a worthy winner who succeeded in ALL that was thrown at her. She’s the only ever winner with no single challenge wins and feels pretty forgotten about already. Whilst Sasha's two wins were joint with Shea, she never landed in the bottom two and was high for a lot of the challenges. Her track record was/is very good despite not having as many wins as Shea or Trinity. So I think she deservedly won given the format and how lack-luster both Trinity and Shea's lip syncs were (particularly Shea). |

I'm rewatching Drag Race from the beginning and am up to the make over's of Season 4.
The Latrice vs Kenya lipsync... forgotten how hilariously bad Kenya was twirling and flinging herself around as Latrice gives soul diva to 'You Make Me Feel' This post has been edited by ElectroBoy: 12th February 2019, 09:40 PM |

Omg one of my fave lipsyncs for different reasons, Latrice sums up what it means to lipsync and feel a song but also it makes me howl every time that Kenya feels the need to do cartwheels and prance around to a song like that

Latrice kind of reminded me of Kenya during that lip sync with Monique so this was successfully balanced out~

Ffs do they not learn, apparently they're starting production on AS5 and have contacted some queens to do it, BUT this will be the last one for a while. Ngl it just needs a break now to refresh the pool of queens, maybe another 2 or 3 regular seasons before they bother again.

Honestly, based on some of the queens that are rumoured to do it, I'm really excited!

I can't really think of any queens I'm desperate to see back. I guess it'd be nice to see Miz Cracker and Shea back, I'd love to see people like Willam, Adore (properly), Pearl and some of the older queens but I doubt that will happen.
Knowing my luck, Eureka will end up winning. |

Honestly though, other than Miz Cracker and Shea Coulee I can't think of anyone who's yet to be on an All Stars season that we really need to see again, mostly because all of the mildly inspired early outs like Jasmine and Gia were on AS4.

Miz Cracker and Shea to be top 2! (If Shea ever says yes ) Apparantley Shea has said yes to it. *_* Just rumours for now though. Also some others that have been asked: Sonique Darienne Lake Alexis Mateo Nina Flowers Nina would be an amazing addition and it would be great to have Sonique back on as well. She's come a long way since her season. I personally love Darienne and hope if she does go on that she ends up doing really well. Alexis is a fierce queen too. Should we create a new thread for AS5? There's likely going to be a lot of rumours surrounding it as S11 goes on. |

I don’t think Shea would come back any time soon, most rumours have said she has pulled out already
If not Shea then I’d reckon Asia O’Hara would be the best bet for a winner, Kim Chi maybe if she does it, as most sources are saying Euerka said no too |
