Hope so, a bit of a grower. Doesn't sound very on trend at all which is good thing.

It's very Joel Corry! But with better sounding production.

Actually no! I meant as in it's not a stripped back cover of an old classic like 90% of the dance in the charts atm. Plus it's an upbeat deep house kind of track which we haven't seen a lot of in recent years.

Thing is though I’d couple this as being similar to Joel Corry, Topic, Meduza, Becky Hill etc all of which fall under the house/dance-pop genre

Let’s show Dobbo some respect, after all he used to be a Dance Moderator! ohmy.gif But on this occasion I have to side with Bré & Lewis on this being very similar to the majority of mainstream dance on the market at the moment. tongue.gif

Fair point re: it not being a cover laugh.gif I just think this kind of sounds exactly like a Joel Corry song or something, I actually specifically thought the first time I heard it in BJSC that it sounds like something I could imagine becoming a mainstream hit single (I didn't think it actually would as both the song and artist seemed pretty obscure at the time and that was only a couple of months ago but I guess he must have some label backing here).

It’s Sony that is pushing the track here.
