Hey everyone, over the last few months you have all been voting for your least favourite song, video and single cover and for each round points were allocated. Its now time to see just how you all voted and to find out what song is the ultimate package.
The aim is to post a minimum of 1 song per day but will post more depending on interactions from forum members. Lets get the discussions going, there will be A LOT of surprises, lets see what you think about where your favourites appear, are songs too high or too low based on what you expected ? how did the biggest sellers do ? how did the fan favourites do ? Time to find out |

Number 13 - Mama - 285 Points
Points Breakdown Cover - 224 out of a possible 600 Song - 56 out of a possible 600 Video - 22 out of a possible 600 Personal Opinion How anything could be lower than "Holler" and "Let love lead the way" in the countdown is beyond on me but those songs obviously have their fans, not me . This deserved way more points. What are your opinions ? too high ? too low ? lets discuss |

Agree Mama is leagues ahead of Holler.
Sad that many fans don't appreciate it's perfection. I think it's respected much more by non fans though. |

Holler is so much better than Mama. For me it's a better song than half of their singles discography...
I'm more shocked that Headlines has done better than Mama? |

Number 12 - Headlines - 344 Points
Points Breakdown Song - 129 out of a possible 600 Video - 110 out of a possible 600 Cover - 105 out of a possible 600 Personal Opinion Why ? that's all I can say about this. Terrible song, terrible video. How can one of the best "pop" groups of all time, come back with something as bland and as bad as this. What are your opinions ? too high ? too low ? lets discuss |

Headlines wasn't a bad song.
It was just everything else about it that was bad (release schedule, lack of promo, inappropriate video) |

Number 3 - Forever (Album) - 42 Points
Points Breakdown Song Selection - 21 out of a possible 600 Album - 21 out of a possible 600 Cover - 0 out of a possible 600 Personal Opinion Why does this album exist ? I love the first 2 so much, they should have just stopped after the single "Goodbye" I just cant get into this album at all. That cover is just vile, cant stand Holler at all. And why call your album Forever when they blatently knew this wasn't the case. What are your opinions ? too high ? too low ? lets discuss This post has been edited by Dannyboy: May 19 2019, 11:23 AM |

Forever is great and deserved much better than what people give it credit for. Terrible cover, yes. But stunning album.

19 years on and I still can't get over that cover being the cover. What were they thinking?
I don't like Forever much but many fans do so... Had it been an equal balance of Jerkins, Jam and Lewis and the original producers with a fun colourful spicy cover this album could've been a great one. However as it is its mostly bland forgettable dirge to my ears and the lack of unity on most of the songs is awful it's like 4 solo artists singing together not as a group. I'd love for this not to be their final studio album. |

I'd love for this not to be their final studio album. Oh I kind of agree. For me, the best thing to do would have been: 1. An album of songs that provide a mix of sounds (like their previous ones did) with Matt & Biff, Absolute and Jerkins, Jam & Lewis, showing progressive growth. An album that still threaded on a pop base, whilst advancing their sound into more R&B territory. The album would have Holler, LLLTW, Wasting My Time, Weekend Love, If You Wanna Have Some Fun, but also Pain Proof, Right Back At Ya (original pop version), WOMAN and A Day In Your Life, with Goodbye and maybe even My Stronger Suit. This would have been released in late 1999 when they were still super popular. 2. Once that era was over, they would have grown even more into Forever territory, and released a more varied album of different styles of old school r&B, disco etc. This would have been released in early 2001. That would have been an ideal scenario for me, personally. But I am a big fan of Forever as it is their most 'conceptual' album, and definitely one where you can see a lot of growth - lyrically and vocally. |
