Genuinely thought this was a Cheryl parody album when I saw the album cover, font and title of the album and singles on iTunes *.*

Anyway, after a bit of research I've found that Charly is a 19-year-old American country singer who potentially looks set for big things (plus she's ginger, yay!). The album is out on April 14th in the UK and so far three singles have been heard: Trouble, Everybody's Pretty When They're 18 and my personal favourite February 29 (Marry Me) which is my favourite country-pop single in quite a while - a fantastic melody and quite funny lyrics. She's sort of like a slightly sassier Taylor Swift circa 2008, which is no bad thing at all. I imagine Liam and maybe Ultraviolence might be on board to name a few!

She's pretty good, this is the kind of country that's been missing quite often in recent years, since Taylor moved to pop nobody's really filled that void. It seems to be more R&B influenced country like Sam Hunt and certain songs by Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett that are dominating (along with the ever present pure country) the country charts.
