The old MTV European Top 20 chart, which had been broadcast on MTV Europe for more than 20 years, ended in 2012. However, it looks like since January 4, 2014 some European "chart" has started being broadcast again on MTV Europe. The chart is broadcast on Fridays from 9:00 to 10:15 CET; on Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:15 CET; and on Sundays from 6:00 to 7:15 CET.
At first the chart seemed to be a Top 40 but in later years MTV Europe sometimes showed positions between number 50 and number 41, indicating a Top 50. However, not all the positions were shown - some of them were skipped each week. It was also notable that the upper part of this chart was basically the same as the "Euro Top 20" chart broadcast on MTV Italy.
However, in February 2021 there was a change in the way the chart was being made. Soon after, MTV Europe started showing just a Top 20. And since May 2022 the chart's name has changed to "MTV Top 20".

The new number 1 is "Let Go" by Central Cee. What about the song it samples - "Let Her Go" by Passenger? Well, it surely would have reached a high peak position in 2013... However, there was no European chart broadcast on MTV Europe between August 2012 and the end of 2013...

5 Coi Leray - Players
4 Miley Cyrus - Flowers
3 Lizzo - Special
2 PinkPantheress - Boy's A Liar
1 Pink - Trustfall

I missed the chart of February 18, 2023.
The latest edition of the chart is momentous as both the songs in the Top 2 are by artists with names including the colour "pink". "Boy's A Liar" by PinkPantheress is at number 2 while "Trustfall" by Pink is at number 1.
This is Pink's first chart-topper since "What About Us" reigned for a total of 7 (nonconsecutive) weeks in 2017. And she reached the top for the very first time with "Lady Marmalade" (a collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mya) back in 2001 - 22 YEARS AGO!

For the chart of March 4, 2023, MTV Europe didn't play a new edition of the chart. Instead, they repeated the chart of February 25, 2023!

Ed Sheeran scores probably his second number 1 in 2023 with "Boat" - because although I missed the chart of April 15, 2023, "Eyes Closed" was at the top in the corresponding edition of the chart broadcast on MTV Hits.

1 Fifty Fifty - Cupid 2 Up

With "Cupid" Fifty Fifty become the third South Korean group to reach the top in MTV Europe's European chart after BTS and BLACKPINK (Jungkook and Jimin from BTS also had number ones as solo artists).
And it's funny that there are songs titled "Flowers" and "Flower" next to each other at number 15 and number 16 (incidentally, "Flower" is by Jisoo from BLACKPINK)!

Euro Top Chart - (as broadcast on MTV Europe)

18 Jack Harlow - They Don't Love It NEW
17 Tyler, The Creator - See You Again NEW

5 Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Miracle 1 Down
4 Rosalia & Rauw Alejandro - Beso 1 Down
3 David Kushner - Daylight 1 Down
2 Fifty Fifty - Cupid 1 Down
1 Harry Styles - Satellite 9 Up

Strange things are happening with Ed Sheeran's songs. "Boat" goes out of the chart from number 7 while "Eyes Closed" re-enters at number 10 and simultaneously "Curtains" is a new entry at number 20.
However, even stranger is that "Satellite" by Harry Styles climbs to the top, thus becoming yet another absurd number 1. It's Harry's fourth chart-topper after "Sign Of The Times", "As It Was" and "Late Night Talking".

"Tattoo" by Loreen debuts at number 9. Her previous Eurovision-winning song "Euphoria" peaked at number 4 in 2012.
However, "Tattoo" is not the first song from this year's Eurovision to appear in the chart! More than a month before the contest took place, the UK representative - "I Wrote A Song" by Mae Muller - inexplicably entered the chart at number 1! Thus it became the second song participating in Eurovision to top MTV Europe's European chart after "Satellite" by Lena...
...Speaking of which, last week's number 1 - ANOTHER song titled "Satellite", by Harry Styles - falls to number 4 and is replaced by yet another completely baffling chart-topper which hasn't had success around Europe... "End Of Time" is Zara Larsson's third number 1 after "This One's For You" (with David Guetta) and "Symphony" (with Clean Bandit).
