'Madame X' was a re-entry at #172 on the album download chart the w/e 26th January following the super deluxe being uploaded to digital platforms.

Music Week have revealed 'Madame X' is on 62,531 total sales. It was certified Silver for 60k sales on 18th February 2022 so is averaging ~35 a week.

'Vogue' was #97 on TV airplay the w/e 6th July 2023 (Pride effect?). I believe it's the first time it's appeared in the Top 100 but I'm not 100% on that.
It also re-entered radio airplay chart at #187 the week prior and moved up to #132. 'Papa Don't Preach' also re-entered at #182 and passed 50,000 plays in total (unsure how far this data goes back though). |

'Material Girl' is now Platinum! Adding the 277k it sold in 1985, the song has total sales of 877k. It was certified Gold in December 2021, 88 weeks ago, and has averaged massive 2,273 per week! When it was certified Gold, it was averaging 1.5k a week.
Five Madonna singles have been certified now, the others being 'Like a Prayer', 'Frozen', 'Hung Up' and '4 Minutes'. Of course, in terms of songs selling over 600k, she has more - 13 in total. |

Curious as to when we'll get a Gold certification for 'La Isla Bonita', as it was only certified Silver back in the 80s. It had sold 166,276 as of w/e 8 August 2019 and would have needed to average 1,108 sales per week since then to have been certified Gold last week. It was revealed to be her fourth most streamed song in 2019 and is her most streamed video, so I think a Gold certification could be imminent.
Still awaiting 'Beautiful Stranger' going Platinum too - would have required 204 sales per week since August 2019 to have received a Platinum certification last week, but I wouldn't be surprised if its weekly sales are closer to half of that. 'Music' would have needed 692 weekly sales to have achieved Platinum last week, so that certification might not be too far away. |
