Any reason why when I put a ! in the subtitle of my thread and publish it replaces with a '#' ?

That happened to me once this week too! Actually I think it replaced '!' with '&', but I just edited the subtitle and it was fixed.

I assume this happens because it converts special characters (including '!' for some reason) to '&#
(In other words, try shortening your description and see if that solves it) |

This has been randomly happening in my posts a lot recently, sometimes a random letter or symbol gets corrupted and replaced with '%_' or something. I just edit it back and it sticks but it's rather annoying especially as it tends to be in long posts so quite difficult to immediately spot.
