Had a complete mind-blank and had just watch the roast of James Franco hence my point-less answer sad.gif

Adele Dazeem is a classic though. So much more iconic than J-Law's fall.

Surprised John didn't pick up more points. Jennifer Lawrence came to mind straight away for me but when Adele Dazeem came to me I thought it might have been an error in judgement.

Question 7: Name any film adapted from a DC Comic.

|14| The Dark Knight | (J▲hq, Joe, Chez Wombat, Leonardo, Ultraviolence1989, Robot, Jonjo, 『bré, Ninjabait, THEO., Tim, burbe, NellyDoll. S, FROOT, Haus)

|3| Batman| (Spadam, Fgiboy2511, Dobbo, Acidburn)

|1| Man of Steel| (Regina, Jay)

|0| Batman Begins | (Mack)

|0| Superman | (Lindsey ♌)

|0| The Dark Knight Rises | (Josh)

The entire Nolan Batman trilogy gets a mention here, sadly for Josh and Mack, the only one which scores any points is The Dark Knight, and of course that's the highest score here. A few people simply put 'Superman' and 'Batman', I'm not sure if they were simply naming the superhero themself, but I assigned them 1978 Superman with Christopher Reeve and and Tim Burton's Batman. The latter actually scoring some points.

The next question is a bloodbath, FIFTEEN (out of 24) members score 0 points.

I really hope I wasn't one of them (but I think I might be!). I should've gone for 'Battle Royale' instead though... maybe?

Question 8: Name a Foreign (non-English) language film

|5| Amélie| (Joe, Regina, Jay, Tim, NellyDoll. S, Haus)

|1| Pan's Labyrinth | (J▲hq, FROOT)

|0| Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon | (Chez Wombat)

|0| Asterix 3 | (Spadam)

|0| Amour | (Ultraviolence)

|0| Run Lola Run | (Lindsey ♌)

|0| A Serbian Film | (『bré』)

|0| The Passion of Joan of Arc | (Ninjabait)

|0| Volver | (THEO.)

|0| Enter The Dragon| (Leonardo)

|0| La Vita É Bella | (Dobbo)

|0| Ida | (burbe)

|0 | The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo |(Acidburn)

|0 | il Postino |(Josh)

|0 | The Dreamers |(Mack)

|0 | REC |(Jonjo)

|0| Les Miserables | (Robot) :')

What a mess this was, only a total of 6 points to give out on the entire round. So many films mentioned, some of my favourites too. Volver and Run Lola Run <3. Though I don't LOVE it, I went with Amélie as I feel it has quite a well known and commercial status when it comes to foreign language films, so well done to anyone else who got that one and to Froot and J▲hq who also manage to pick up a point in a very tough round! Robot gives me life on this round, naming Les Misérables, I think there are some moments in French, right? unsure.gif

'Amelie' actually crossed my mind too! FFS.

I just HAD to go with my personal favourite though. '[REC]' is a classic <3

Yay at being a point scorer! laugh.gif Amélie was on my consideration list, I recall watching both that and Pan's Labyrinth in class.

Pan's Labyrinth is one of the best films of all time, anyways. heart.gif So beautiful and imaginative. I wish there were more films out there like that one.

I swear I just didn't see any of these top answers coming :/ Jennifer Lawrence's fall over the Oscar Selfie & The Artist over Casablanca/Citizen Kane, really? Amelie did admittedly come to mind, but that one was quite hard to guess a top answer for!

Question 9: Name Steven Spielberg film.

|9| Jurassic Park | (J▲hq, Chez Wombat, Spadam, Jonjo , Jay, burbe, NellyDoll. S, FROOT, Josh, Haus)

|6 | ET | (Joe, Leonardo, Ultraviolence1989, Mack, Fgiboy2511, Dobbo, Acidburn)

|1| Jaws| (Lindsey ♌, Ninjabait)

|0| Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom| (Regina)

|0| Schindler's List | (THEO.)

|0| Star Wars |(Robot)

|0| Jurassic World |(Tim)

|0| Pudsey: The Movie |(『bré』)

While Regina accidentally names the best Spielberg film rather than the most popular, most of us go for the two most iconic: ET and Jurassic Park. Well done to the prehistoric top scorers, you all get 9 points. None for Theo or Regine who are still correct. Rob, Bray and Timmy...Spielberg did not direct any of those films Star Wars, Jurassic World Or Pudsey: The Movie... :')

Yay! Jurassic Park, E.T and Jaws are all huge so it was a bit of a toss-up but knew the Jurassic World buzz from this year could play a factor.

Question 10: Name a quote from Mean Girls

|4| 'She doesn't even go here!' | (Chez Wombat, Lindsey ♌, Jonjo, THEO., FROOT)

|3| 'Boo, you whore!' | (Joe, Robot, burbe, Josh)

|2| 'Stop trying to make fetch happen, it's not going to happen'.| (Leonardo, Regina, Jay)

|2| 'If You're From Africa...Why are you white?' | (Ultraviolence1989, Tim, Acidburn)

|1| 'That is SO fetch?' | (Dobbo, NellyDoll. S)

|0| 'Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by Regina George' | (Spadam)

|0| 'I'm sorry that people are jealous of me. I can't help it that I'm so popular' | (Mack)

|0| 'Four for you Glen Coco, You go Glen Coco!' | (Ninjabait)

|0| 'I can’t help that I’ve got a heavy flow and a wide-set vagina.' | (Haus)

|0| 'On Wednesdays we wear pink' | (J▲hq)

|0| 'I hope the scummy little bitch gets what she deserves. Anyone in my family did something like that, I'd disown them' |(Bre)

Mean Girls is SO quotable. Gifs, tumblr, Twitter and even Buzzjack are often completely taken over by Mean Girls quotes. So which is the most iconic according to Buzzjack? Well it's 'She doesn't even go here!' 'Boo, you Whore!' is also very close, while Jak, Ninjabait and Haus name three of my favourite quotes which sadly score 0 points sad.gif. If only I were giving out bonus points... Bray makes up his own quote...I think, which also deserves bonus points for sounding as if it was in Mean Girls. I had to Google it (twice) to double check it wasn't.

And that's that. Scoreboard coming SOON

(Surprised the two quotes involving "fetch" weren't more popular. ohmy.gif
