I'd prefer Lost Frequencies to get the #1 but I don't mind either way what happens.

For the first time in ages I don't mind who gets to number one this week as I love both the Tinie and Lost Frequencies tracks!
Great to see an all new top 3, hope that lasts but I hope AYWM can do an OMI and climb next week |

Stereo Kicks are selling a remix physical in 25 BHS stores - Can't imagine they would see that much though? They did have 2 versions of the song in the iTunes Top 40 yesterday plus pre-order sales, They have 2 CD singles available online - The signed version has sold out.... Expect it to plummet heavily over the next few updates.

'Not Letting Go' entering today at #42 on the spotify chart ends any lingering doubts that it will be #1 on Sunday ~ it won't necessarily be a one week wonder either...

The Giver #20, should make the Top 40 after all then?
BRILLIANT for Everything Everything also |

I don't know what any if the songs in the top 5 sound like, even the one that's been no.1 for weeks already. I've peaked in irrelevance.

I was hoping Waiting For Love would have had a chance of going top 40 this week, but it's down to #64 in the mids from #54 in last week's mids
yay for The Giver comfortably top 40 though! Stereo Kicks #12 though hopefully that falls a lot throughout the week, would rather they didn't end up top 20. Would be nice to have an all-new top 3 but I think Derulo will overtake Flo Rida. Ooooops at Britney probably not spending a 2nd week top 40, #36 in the mids is a really bad sign for it. |

I only know ONE (Derulo). The state of the upper end of the charts recently (ie. the last 2/3 years) has been utterly dismal and depressing so I've given up. I agree it's not been great, but it's only the last couple of months that I've not bothered to keep up. I think my chart days are over. |

If NLG wasn't on streaming it would probably miss #1, but since it is streamable I bet they have it this week. Hoping LF makes it next week!
Amazing debut for Flo there although JD will probably knock it down, and maybe WTM will as well. Would've been cool to see Avicii top 40 on streams but never mind. He might do it in a week or too before release. Upsetting to see Sun Is Shing fall so badly it really is a great track I'd love to see Wake Me Up re-enter the top 100 so hope it does so. |

Looks like I totally underestimated Tinie Tempah/Jess Glynne. It does sound like a summer jam and Jess is very much in demand at the moment but am surprised it has managed to out-sell Lost Frequencies.
Bit of a mediocre track, but if it helps Jess on her way to beat Cheryl's British female UK #1s record then I'm all for it. |
