So basically going for a minimalistic but fun presentation idea! I will tell you a film going in alphabetical order that has received nominations but I won't tell you how many or what nominations so you have to guess! You can also show your love or hatred or shock for a film getting nominated! Then I will reveal what categories the film got nominated in and give you another film etc, hopefully this works and obviously i'll need a few people commenting for this to work!
So let's start! 50/50 Where was it nominated? |

Bridesmaids
Nominations: Best Picture Best Actress: Kristen Wiig Best Script Blue Valentine Nominations: Best Actress: Michelle Williams Utterly shocked Bridesmaids did as poorly as that Especially surprised that neither Rose Byrne or Melissa McCarthy made it into the supporting actress races, and even more surprising Melissa didn't even get a vote Repeat of the Oscars for Blue Valentine with Michelle getting nominated & Ryan not! Though will Ryan score any acting nominations for this year? Next films (I'm going to do two films at a time from now on!): Captain America: The First Avenger Crazy Stupid Love Continue predicting/hyping revealed nominations x Next lot coming after another comment x |

Omg poor Ryan Gosling in Blue Valentine Overshadowed at all the awards by Michelle despite being better :')
I'm glad Beginners at least got one nomination as it's really underrated imo, Ewan McGregor was probably my cast highlight though! |

Captain America: The First Avenger
Nominations: Best Picture Best Actor: Chris Evans Best Script Crazy Stupid Love Nominations: Picture Best Supporting Actor: Ryan Gosling Best Supporting Actress: Emma Stone Best Script Josh completely on the mark with Cap America! And Crazy Stupid Love really overperforms and scores two acting noms, for two actors who will hope to repeat those nominations for La La Land next year <3 Next films (I'm going to do two films at a time from now on!): Drive Gnomeo & Juliet Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt. II Continue predicting/hyping revealed nominations x Next lot coming after another comment x |

Drive - probably Ryan Gosling, maybe Carey Mulligan? Picture, script too potentially! Gnomeo & Juliet - Animated surely and perhaps some voice acting nominations Harry Potter - Picture, Script & potentially Supporting Actor for Alan Rickman? |

Drive
Nominations: Best Picture Best Actor: Ryan Gosling Best Supporting Actress: Carey Mulligan Best Director: Nicholas Winding Refn Best Song: Kavinsky - Nightcall Gnomeo & Juliet Nominations: Best Animation Best Voice Performance: James McAvoy Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt. II Nominations: Best Picture Really need to see Drive judging by the amount of nominations it picked up! Josh is correct again with Gnomeo & Juliet *.* The last Harry Potter really underperformed And I can reveal this is the first of quite a few films this year to receive a best picture nomination and nothing else!!!! (there is only one in 2012 tf as we have another THREE here!) Next films (I'm going to do two films at a time from now on!): Moneyball My Week With Marilyn Paul Continue predicting/hyping revealed nominations x Next lot coming after another comment x |

Awwww at Harry Potter It remains my favourite HP film ever so was hoping for more than just one nomination!
Moneyball - could get more but expecting just Brad Pitt My Week with Marilyn - Michelle Williams (and hopefully Kenneth Branagh too, I think he must have gotten in as well!) Paul - Voice performance I guess, not really sure. |
