I always loved the spice girls, i was a massive fan, altough i never got to see them live , i would love a reunion but i cant see it happening and i dont know if they would suceed, my favourite spice girl was always Geri i just love her and i was devvoed when she left, i think i liked Mel C's solo career the best though and she has the best voice by far in my opinion.

WOW, their third album really was a major flop.
My two favourites are '2 Become 1' and 'Spice Up Your Life', only a few Spice songs don't sound dated today IMO. I can't listen to 'Wannabe' these days without cringing. When I was a kid I did love them, I owned both of the first two albums, various posters and singles. |

Highly doubt it. They only had 2 big selling albums so their sales are high if anything. Their 3rd album is known as a huge flop. What was the reason for this? Well its a number of things They came back with a more RnB Style, and not many people approved, And also a Band Member left (Geri Halliwell) Plus, The Album wasnt promoted at all really |

Spice sold 3m UK alone, 1m in Canada alone, 7m in US alone, 0.5 in Australia alone... 11.5m in 4 countries only. Spice World sold 4m in America and 1,5m in Uk.... Both albums must have sold more than the numbers given in this thread |

If you just look at what you just said your wrong 11.5m in 4 Countries yeah And 3.5 Million Elsewhere Why am I wrong?? Albums were selling great in the 90s. Spice sold 250k in Poland alone at that time. I can imagine it magaed to sell close to million in France and Germany. Hitting 20m wasn't that hard with an album which went #1 almost everywhere. |

It's true I did read figures for Spice as 22,000,000 WW last year.
But I thought that was WAY too much 18,000,000 at most I'd say but the figures given seem realistic |

1. Whats Your Thoughts On The Group?
I love them they were the first girl group i liked when i got into listening to music so they are very special to me because of this. All there songs where about having fun ect and they are very catchy. 2. Renunion? It would be awsome if they did but i doubt it will eva happen they have moved on and doing there own thing. And if they came back who know they might not stay succesful as they were which would be a shame 3. Whats Your Favourite Member? GERI ofcourse 4. Who's Solo Career did you enjoy the most? Geri again |

Emma: Spice Girls reunion a matter of time!
Channel4 Entertainment 21/11/2006 Emma Bunton said she would love the Spice Girls to reunite when she has more time on her hands. The 'Strictly Come Dancing' star said that it's not a case of if the five piece - including Geri Halliwell - will eventually reunite, but when. Emma, who praised Take That's comeback, said she isn't sure yet how the reunion would come about or whether the girls would tour or bring out a new album. "We all want to do it," she said. "It's more a question of when. I've no idea if it would be a one-off or a tour, but the Take That thing has been amazing." Coming hot on the heels of Melanie C saying "Never say never" when asked that question this week on the Paul O'Grady show, & David Beckham allegedly saying "There's more chance of the Mrs playing there" when talking about the refurbished Wembley Stadium" could something be planned for the second-half of 2007? |

Diana charity concert 'next year'
BBC Entertainment News/Sunday Mirror Prince William and Prince Harry are reported to be considering organising a charity pop concert to mark the 10th anniversary of their mother's death. Wembley Stadium could stage the event next summer, the Sunday Mirror reports. Proceeds from the event, which would be televised worldwide, would go to causes favoured by Princess Diana, it says. BBC Royal Correspondent Peter Hunt said the princes want to have control over how the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death is handled. Buckingham Palace has not issued a statement but our correspondent said it is expected to confirm plans for the anniversary in the coming weeks, with rumours that Madonna, Genesis, Cliff Richard, Duran Duran, Take That & the Spice Girls have been invited to perform. The princes are thought to be examining several options but a concert appears to be their preferred choice, he added. One possible date for the concert could be July 1, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday. The princess died in a Paris car crash on 31 August 1997. Any Comments? |

Emma hopes for Spice Girls reunion
Virgin Net Emma Bunton has fuelled rumours of a Spice Girls reunion after admitting she hopes to get on stage with the band again one day. The Spice Girls split in 2001 after a string of hits and Baby Spice, who is currently appearing in TV show Strictly Come Dancing, is hoping the girls will get back together for a comeback gig at some point. However, she admits the band members are so busy on individual projects that they may struggle to find a time when they are all available. She said: "It's tough getting all of us together. We're all doing our own things at the moment and priorities change. The girls have got children and their own lives. "And if they asked me now, I'll be really busy with Strictly so I won't be able to do it. Next time, someone else will be doing something. It's just difficult to get us all together. "Touch wood, maybe and hopefully, I think it'll be a lovely thing to do. I think it'd be nice if we did a one-off gig or something but I don't know. I can only speak on behalf of myself so we'll see what happens. "We've got so much in common that all of us have always stayed in touch. There's no one else really I can speak to about the good old days apart from them, so it's great to have that connection with them." |
