Charlie Puth has premiered his debut single 'Marvin Gaye' with Meghan Trainor.
Quite like this on first listen! Not sure if it will do much but a pretty catchy tune. I really like it!

Just heard this for the first time, I really like it and it sounds like a very big radio hit. I see it's #1 in New Zealand and has already been successful in Australia so maybe it'll be making it's way to our radios soon?
I can't work out what this samples/sounds very similar too instrumental-wise, is it Duffy's 'Distant Dreamer'? Music video: |

It's picking up in the United States, it's #110 on iTunes. I don't see both 'Marvin Gaye' and 'Like I'm Going To Lose You' smashing as both are duets and I can't see radio supporting both singles but I guess 'Marvin Gaye' has the better chance of being supported following the success of 'See You Again'.

This can't not be a big hit with the two names involved, and to think just a few months ago we didn't know who either of them were.

I would be very shocked if this weren't a hit, it's incredibly catchy and grows on me with each listen! Plus it's on an ad right now as ThePensmith said so increased exposure there, but they NEED a pre-order up for this

Strangely, this is available for download on Amazon's MP3 page (I got it from there yesterday as this is fast turning into one of my favourite singles released thus far this year) but nowhere to be seen on iTunes. The Fiat ad this is on is getting increased exposure so I'm surprised not even a pre-order is up.

His Facebook interestingly states a UK release date of 7th August? I'd say this date would be more ideal but really they need to be pushing this for an early July release. I'd love to see this be a number one.
