River will sadly be #1 for ages.
It won't be a #1, but the more I listen to Never Be The Same and it grows on me, the more I feel like it's gonna be huge, long running top 10. |

Same, I really think it's gonna be a lot bigger than people expect! Can see Anne-Marie's new one doing similar to Alarm, End Game taking off if there's a BRITS performance and Birdy coming for a hit with keeping your head up or wild horses to keep up her annual tradition of a Birdy song taking off two years after the album was released *.* |

The next #1 will sadly be around April or May 2018 if River stays there for a long haul.

I think some of you are exaggerating just how well "The River" will do. I think number 1 is fairly likely but not for the long-haul.

All Night by Lunchmoney Lewis and Big Boi will surely be a top 20 hit if it gets Spotify support?

Barking definitely, along with quite a few other breaking urban hits (maybe that Steel Banglez one?). I'm not sure about All Night, I feel like it will drop rapidly once that emoji advert finishes.

Another rumour: There's a Rudimental song with Zara coming in Q1 too.

Hoping "Beautiful Trauma" will go top 10 in the new year once all the Christmas songs fall. It's steadily gaining on spotify and hoping it'll be added to the main playlists there soon.

Gorgeous seems a bit of a transition single for Taylor,
really hope they push hard for End game next with a great video with all of Taylor/Future/Ed on it, they could also perform at the Brits Clean Bandit's 2nd album should come up in Q1, so I guess there will be a new single, hopefully with more oomph than I Miss You, which was not bad at all but lacked the wow factor I also read James Bay is back soon, curious to see how he performs, if he confirms or flops completely like poor George Ezra did. Talking of Ezra, guess he'll release a new single and album 2 eventually, a friend of mine went to see him live a couple weeks ago and he played like 6/8 new songs so sure the album is ready to go |

Yeah I'm quite sure James Bay's return is imminent, wouldn't surprise me if he bagged a promo slot for a new single at the BRIT Awards actually so a new single is probably coming before then!
Jax Jones is surely gonna be a huge top 10 hit early next year, and I could see the likes of Not3s, RAYE, NF and Steel Banglez all taking off more than they currently have once the Christmas songs have been pushed out of the way. Eminem/Ed is almost certainly gonna be a #1 but I doubt it'd be anywhere near as long as Shape of You when you consider ACR etc. |

I think a couple dance song by unheard of or smaller DJs will become big in the next few months, like You Don't Know Me
Probabaly will be a good few months for hip hop again with River, Let You Down and Barking dominating. Don't think we'll see any massive pop releases like Ed or Taylor level so maybe a pretty stale start for the year |

JT needs to hurry up and release.
People really are over hyping 'Let you don't on here. |

I hope Strangers by Sigrid gets some momentum but so far the Spotify playlists are ignoring it.
Fingers crossed for a #1 Kylie album and top 40 single too. |

How long does Adele usually leave wouldn't 2018 be 3 years since 25
Ignore that unless she does a surprise drop (I only read 2018 not q1) This post has been edited by 777666jason: 17th December 2017, 11:25 AM |
