We have now reached the one chart of the year that begins purging a lot of the stuff from last year.Blurryface reigns supreme for a fifth week in a row as the top 2 remain stagnant for a fifth week running. We also see a large move for DNCE as they leap up 6 spots to #3 with "Cake By The Ocean". The Weeknd slips a spot to #4 with "In The Night", while we see our first high debut in Taylor Swift's "Out Of The Woods" at #5. Will this be our first #1 of the year contender? The top 10 sees another new entry in Fall Out Boy's "Irresistible", up 9 spots to #10. Besides "Out Of The Woods", no new songs enter the top 20. Two more new songs enter the top 30 though: Justin Bieber makes another relatively large gain as "Love Yourself" treks up another 9 spots to #26. Our Greatest Gainer this week goes to Zara Larsson, whose single "Lush Life" vaults up 16 spots to #29. Four more new songs enter the top 40 this week, including another debut. Charlie Puth is now nine steps closer to a #1 with "One Call Away" at #33, while a respectable position can't hide from Daya much longer; "Hide Away" moves up 8 spots to #34. Our second debut goes to Snakehips' "All My Friends" featuring Tinashe and Chance the Rapper, debuting at #35. This is Tinashe's fourth single to chart. Galantis wraps up the top 40 debuts with "In My Head" up 5 spots to #38.

6 more songs debut this week, bringing the total back up to 8. It's a second year in a row that both 3LAU and Bright Lights have debuted within the second week of the year, and their third entry together, albeit with reverse lead credits - "Runaway" debuts at #42 this week. Alternative gets another representative as "Electric Love" by BØRNS debuts at #45, while we see our first MØ solo track in "Kamikaze" at #46. DJ Snake also finally enters after "Lean On" became huge, as "Middle" debuts at #47. It's been a long time coming for another Borgeous track to debut and this week his latest "Souls" manages to sneak in a week on the chart at #48. Wrapping up the debuts this week is Pia Mia with new single "Touch" at #50.

Zara Larsson is the sole holder for Greatest Gainer this week, while three songs hold biggest dropper: Audien, Demi Lovato & Pentatonix all drop 9 spots today with "Something Better", "Confident" and "Can't Sleep Love" respectively.

Also of note: DH Earworm now holds the record for highest position to drop out of the chart.
