BuzzJack Platinum Member Joined: 10 March 2006 Posts: 19,163 User: 151	At the risk of sounding like Hadji, they should have removed DaBaby and Regard, and added James Bay and Kygo x Tina Turner. With 14 weeks, 'Rockstar' has now spent longer on the playlist than 'Shape Of You' and is tied with 'Sing' and 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Only 'One Dance' has spent longer (15 weeks) since I started tracking the playlist in 2012. Also it's a shame they felt the need to A-list Calvin/Love Regenerator based on his name alone, it's not like the song is doing anything. I also think Cardigan by Taylor (the lead single from Folklore) will be added next week? It’s not too commercial but isn’t the antithesis of it as well.

The biggest hits get 14-16 weeks sometimes whereas others get 3 weeks and out. Does 14 weeks for a huge hit like 'Rockstar' deserve so much support and does that meet the BBC Trust criteria that radio 1 should play new music?
