BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ One Direction v J Bieber Album battle 14 Nov

Posted by: Buzzmusic 30th September 2015, 12:31 AM

This is looking like the ultimate fan base album chart battle.

Where would you put your vote for which act will take the #1 in
1. The UK
2. The US
?

In the UK, definitely One D, could be a lot closer in the US though.

In the UK it'll be 1D for sure. I'd say the same for the US too actually, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.

Easy 1D victory in both the UK and US

One Direction are definitely bigger album sellers than Bieber, even in the US I think.

I think it will be close in the US, particularly as it's been over three years since Justin's last proper album. In the UK, it'll easily be 1D, but I'd be shocked if Justin didn't have good sales too.

There's no way Justin will beat 1D in the UK. In the US, 1D will probably eclipse him too.

I think 1D will win both but interesting side note in the UK, Ben Haenow's album is out the same week. I think he could possibly sell more than Justin.

1D UK. JB US.

1D will be number one, won't be certain where Bieber will enter, Electric Light Orchestra also release on that date and might outsell Bieber then there's last year's X-factor winner Ben Haenow

Yeah, 1D will definitely be #1 here, plus they'll no doubt have a radio-friendly second single that'll be performed on X Factor to really pull it away from the competition.

Bieber will need to have another single out that gets received as well as 'What Do You Mean?' for him to get second place I think.

1D will have one of the highest opening sales weeks of the year in the UK.

In the US due to Justin having had two big hits (one of which I'm not sure will be on the album) and seems to be gaining a wider audience whilst still having all his core Beilbers, I think Justin will nab it.

1D definitely in both the UK and US.

Does anyone know what 1D sold first week on their last album? Is there any chance they won't get #1?

141,780 in week 1, and I'd imagine it'll increase this time what with the media coverage of it potentially being their last album, so no, there's no chance they won't get #1.

Ah ok thanks. I don't know why I had the impression their sales had gone down but I guess when you are that huge its still better than everyone else.

The only way they won't get the No.1 is if Adele releases the same day!

1D will definitely be #1 both US and UK in first week . No doubt
but If JB 's album is good and have another HIT songs .He will win 1D in total Sales
