I'm afraid I don't think such convenient site exists. I had this issue a few years back & ended up just having to go through weekly OCC Top 40 charts to compile a year list :/

There may be no on line resources but I'm quite sure that people here have built up databases/spreadsheets that they could easily query. Whether or not they want to share their hard work with others is up to them.

On Wikipedia I've found a list of top 10 singles in the UK. Maybe that helps a little bit:

Yeah, thanks Ben! I'll use that and fill in the top 40's from archives to fill the gaps.

CMD+F (or Shift+F) and search for 40, 39, 38 etc. - should give you all the hits that peaked there in one.
E.g. for 2012, these all peaked at 40: AC/DC Highway To Hell No 40 Nadia Ali Rapture No 40 Athlete Wires No 40 Kelly Clarkson Dark Side No 40 Hot Natured & Ali Love Benediction No 40 Whitney Houston One Moment In Time No 40 Kings Of Pop (will.i.am feat. Mick Jagger & Jennifer Lopez Remake) T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) No 40 Jason Mraz I'm Yours No 40 T-Pain feat. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen 5 O'clock No 40 Frank Turner I Still Believe No 40 Ok it is a bit time consuming but you already have the Top 10 hits and it will save you going through every single chart! |
