Bones is already a huge grower, it has a more hopeful and anthemic feel than Ginny's strikingly subtle version and I like that too!
Oh and "Bones" is up on Vevo :
It's out On first listen I'm not as excited by it as I thought I'd be, 'Bones' is such a strong first single I was expecting more I guess but will stream it a few times before making my mind up.
I'm still gutted that 'Bones' done absolutely nothing! I was really expecting radio to get behind it - it is too good to go unnoticed.
Her voice is so good, love this!
I've played through it twice now and I think it's a pretty good album, I love her voice. It's a shame Bones didn't take off, amazing version of the song.
On a side note I revisited Freedom last week as it'd been a few years since I lst played it. I rember not enjoying it that much, but this time around I thought it was pretty good. Heaven is still my favourite though.
I forgot how much I love this woman's voice.
This album is beautiful as is she and her voice. She needs much more appreciation, I hope she doesn't change her style.
Bones is up to #44 on UK Itunes. I hope it keeps climbing, it deserves much more.
I really need to listen to this. Her first two albums were pretty flawless (and I don't like throwing that word around to describe any basic bitch.) She's got such a beautiful voice.
I can't say I've ever taken much interest to her at all aside from her two fantastic singles 'Nothing's Real But Love' and 'Backtrack' and then I sort of just stopped taking her seriously after she repeated the words 'I Hope' one hundred times within a few minutes and called it a song but thought I'd give the album a listen out of curiosity and am really pleasantly surprised. I've always loved her voice and personality hence why she was my favourite on her year of the X Factor and she sounds really gorgeous on this but the melodies are really strong too. It's a shame she's never really properly taken off but if her output is this strong in the future, I do hope we get more from her! Early favourites are Bones, Without a Woman and Superwoman.
I'm loving the album, I've always been a fan and have the previous albums but apart from the singles and a couple of stand out tracks I dont often return to them but this album already feels different and one I will listen to all the way through more than skipping. Bones, Superwoman and Stars are standing out for me
Like her as a person and she's got an unique voice. The only thing that bothers me is the music. It's way too save...the lyrics don't reflect the depth of her voice. That's the reason I don't play her albums very often, including this one. Not trying to hate..it's just, in my opinion, she's not taking fully advantage of the great potential she's got!
Superwoman is officially the second single! Confirmed on Rebecca's twitter
There are quite a few strong tracks this time around, definitely prefer it to her second album (not counting the covers thing at all). Standing out for me at the moment are... Bones, Oceans, Superwoman, Without a Woman, Pay For It and, in particular, The Way You're Looking At Her.
Just listening to this again and it's tragic this has flopped so hard - I kind of feel the whole project is over with now I'm the UK? The lead single missed the Top 100 and the album had a chart run of 7-36-54-73-Out. I was really hoping for an XF performance to help revive it.
Has Rebecca performed somewhere? 'Heaven' is just outside of the iTunes album Top 100 and 'Superwoman' is #67
She was on Fern Britton Meets... on Sunday morning
OMG, all of sudden 'Superwoman' (album + single) climbs back Surprise hit?! I would love that!
UK Itunes:
#65 - Superwoman (album)
#157 - Superwoman (single)
Is that because of publicity surrounding her refusal to perform at Trump's inauguration?
'Superwoman' (single) is up to 144 now!
She's coming!
Itunes:
#140 Superwoman (single)
#42 Superwoman (album)
Wow her recent message on Twitter, really shocking!
