Out in Australia!

Sounds so good! Killer chorus - electrorock is the word I'd use to describe the song.

Posted by: linds 11th July 2019, 03:06 PM

I'm gonna wait until midnight but electrorock is what I'd call their older stuff so I'm guessing its not too far from that? it sounded quite experimental from the clip tho

im so excited like i love this band almost as much as i love paramore so i know im gonna love anything they put out

I'd say it's more electronic, but not to the point where you can't hear the guitars. Quite hard to explain, but it's definitely a bit different!

Posted by: John-James 11th July 2019, 03:22 PM

Love the new track! A little different but still very PVRIS

Posted by: linds 11th July 2019, 04:37 PM

okay i gave in and listened, i adore it wub.gif it sounds a lot more mainstream than their previous stuff, maybe this could be the one to smash for them *.*

ITS HERE

Can't stop listening to this biggrin.gif

Posted by: Liаm 12th July 2019, 04:21 PM

Looove this, banger *.* The right progression in their sound tbh, it's moving on being a bit more commercial but not totally abandoning their core!

Posted by: linds 17th July 2019, 03:53 PM

lynn said on instagram that their next single is even poppier than this one ohmy.gif

Posted by: Bré 18th July 2019, 02:38 PM

This feels very different from them but I am liking it, interested to see where else they go with this new sound ~

Posted by: linds 10th August 2019, 12:37 AM

pvris recently asked for fans to give their address and it seems quite a few people have recieved a vinyl - next single is seemingly called "hallucinations" and is coming soon *.*

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 15th August 2019, 10:07 AM

'Hallucinations' out tonight!

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 15th August 2019, 02:40 PM

Video as well! This is sounding so good

Posted by: Liаm 16th August 2019, 12:38 AM

I'm actually bowled over at how good this is!! wub.gif The production *.* *.* *.*

They've done a really good job of going poppier without losing their heart and core.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 16th August 2019, 05:29 PM

This is brilliant!

https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/rock/8527451/pvris-hallucinations-new-song-video-interview-lynn-gunn

Turns out these two songs are from a new EP out October 25th - their third album will be released in the first quarter of 2020. So more to look forward to!

Posted by: HausofTove 19th August 2019, 09:02 AM

Hallucinations is near pop perfection. That middle 8 leading into the explosive final chorus gives me chills. Love!

Posted by: Liаm 19th August 2019, 11:13 AM

This is coming up towards being my song of the year, can't get over how bloody great this is!!

Posted by: linds 30th August 2019, 10:02 AM

UK TOUR!! you can bet i got tickets for glasgow heart.gif

View this post on Instagram

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 30th August 2019, 05:33 PM

Hopefully they do a proper UK tour next year with more than 3 dates tongue.gif

Posted by: linds 30th August 2019, 09:36 PM

idk if the album will be out before these dates, I'm presuming this is like the EP tour and we'll get another tour with bigger venues around spring time? they usually tour constantly anyway but I'm so excited to see them in a small venue, I've seen them twice before and they're absolutely incredible and only seem to improve each time, definitely a band I'd pay to see live over and over again!

apparently they sold out the entire UK leg in under a minute :')

Posted by: Klimawechsel 4th September 2019, 10:49 AM

Heard Hallucinations on R1 last night, no idea it was PVRIS! ohmy.gif Really liking this one, the productions hits really well! Lynne's vocals sound even better than usual but they haven't lost what made them in the first place.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 10th October 2019, 10:23 PM

I'm actually shook and like I knew it was gonna be good but holy f***ing shit it's incredible!! Old Wounds? MASTERPIECE!! Nightmare? A DAMN BOP!! Things Are Better? SO STUNNING I SOBBED!!

the album is gonna decapitate me when its out next year if this is the level they're playing at now cry.gif

Posted by: Liаm 25th October 2019, 03:06 PM

Nothing beats Hallucinations but Nightmare is a BOP

Posted by: linds 26th October 2019, 12:37 PM

I think Old Wounds is my fave, i cannot wait to hear these new tracks live *.*

Posted by: John-James 26th October 2019, 02:02 PM

Love all the tracks but I think Things Are Better is my favourite, one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a while

Posted by: Jade 5th November 2019, 09:02 PM

'Old Wounds' is the best song I've heard from them since 'St. Patrick' - at last I'm really liking something of theirs again *.*

Posted by: WhoChristmasssy 9th December 2019, 10:56 PM

Old Wounds video out tomorrow!

Posted by: HiyaLuv 4th March 2020, 09:53 PM

This sounds good on first listen but I also miss uptempo PVRIS with the trancey synths that sounded like a clubbier Paramore. My House, St Patrick, that kind of thing.

Posted by: linds 4th March 2020, 11:30 PM

This is so uptempo and probs one of their most dancey?!?? laugh.gif

Posted by: HiyaLuv 5th March 2020, 12:23 AM

I'll give you the dancey but not the uptempo. Seems pretty midtempo to me. But yes, songs like My House already exist, no need to rewrite them.

Posted by: Bré 12th March 2020, 06:12 PM

'Death Of Me' ended up being the only song from the EP that I cared for that much but I am really liking 'Dead Weight' too (maybe even more than 'Death Of Me'), it seems like a good blend of rocky PVRIS and electropoppy PVRIS.

Posted by: linds 14th March 2020, 12:55 AM

I love dead weight more than the ep stuff tbh, I also love how Lynn is owning up to just how much she does on her own for pvris like the band is basically her as far as the concepts and creation go so it's nice to see her have more confidence in putting that out there as seen in the video wub.gif

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 8th April 2020, 08:51 PM

Pushed back to July 10 sad.gif

Posted by: lewistgreen 24th April 2020, 11:04 AM

Gimme A Minute is out today! Liking this one

Posted by: uhsting 28th April 2020, 03:43 PM

I enjoyed Gimme A Minute! I like the melody but frankly at some parts it sounds a bit ordinary for me.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 28th April 2020, 08:18 PM

Yeah it's definitely one of my favourites from them!

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 26th June 2020, 06:12 PM

PVRIS feature on Guardin's new single 'alive' out today - sounds decent!

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 4th July 2020, 10:43 AM

Just a week before release, it's been pushed back to August 28 :/

Posted by: UltraBeKind 4th July 2020, 01:44 PM

Ffs if this gets pushed back one more time 😭

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 20th August 2020, 02:27 PM

Completely forgot this is out in a week! The delays have done it no favours, and it's strange there hasn't been a single release since Dead Weight - but I am looking forward to it.

070 Shake has also been confirmed to feature on the title track.

Posted by: John-James 28th August 2020, 11:49 AM

January Rain is absolutely stunning omg

Posted by: GhoulOdyssey 22nd October 2020, 03:36 PM

'Use Me' deluxe is out tonight, including 'Thank You' featuring Raye! A very unexpected feature there
