Not one of my songs in BJSC but my debut entry in UP, Protohype & Kezwik, was played in the background of an advert for Geordie Shore like 2 years after I sent it. laugh.gif

'Uncover' isn't exactly semi-obscure with it having 76 million YouTube views and Zara being somewhat of a name tongue.gif [though it was exactly that at the time it was sent]

Tez Cadey impakt tho *.* it also has 32 million Spotify plays and 10 million YouTube views for the music video despite not being a hit anywhere for whatever reason.

It's semi-obscure compared to nearly everything else I hear at uni (i.e. Justin Bieber, Justin Bieber and Justin Bieber). This was a while back when Zara was less of a 'name' as well.

Both of my twenty-something housemates only appear to have heard of Bieber's recent No.1s and Drake's Hotline Bling. Never heard them listen to anything else in the last three months, they just play these songs over and over and over again.

Has anyone had their entries played on TV after they were sent to BJSC?

That's happened to me once with "Savages" tongue.gif

Wet's 'Deadwater' was playing in the pub in Northampton me and Jade were at on Saturday ;o

Trifoski impact *.* was so cool hearing that <3

Aside from that one the two that stand out are me hearing Spada & Elen Levon - 'Cool Enough' in a bar in Spain and a couple of days ago I had the American Idol auditions on in the background and they had Jai Wolf - 'Indian Summer' as a soundbed ;o

Another one for H&M! I heard Elohim - She Talks to Much of D'yermak'er fame (I didn't rate it much at the time, so I'm not sure actually sure how I recognised it!), was even weirder coming straight after Little Mix's Black Magic! laugh.gif

Seeing an Apple Watch commercial with "Running Behind" on it was a major *.*/:cheeseblock: moment for me.

I heard Eden XO "Too Cool To Dance" at my student union about a year ago which is the best example I can think of, but it did get minimal airplay in the US so not too surprising.

*.*

I'm sure I remember hearing 'Love Me Like You Mean It' by Kelsea Ballerini in my hotel in Cyprus last summer, which I think was pretty much the same month it was entered into BJSC. Also heard my very own 'Tidal Wave' in H&M a few months ago and thought to myself "this sounds like a perfect song for BJSC" until I realised after about 20 seconds that I'd already sent it myself! heehee.gif I blame the sound system for being very quiet for me not recognising it instantly.

I heard someone playing Believe in Yourself (Arthur) on their phone at school yesterday *_* kinda unexpected considering it's a kids tv show theme.

*.* Will have a listen, wish Debenhams had had a more bearable playlist when I worked there.

I heard your Katie Cole entry in Debenhams once! Not sure if you were still working there and maybe switched over the national Debenhams radio to your iPod briefly, but I was quite surprised to hear it!
