3 1336 Tones and I - Dance Monkey (57-46-42-17-10-9-7-5-3-2-1-1-1-3-6-7-8-8-5-10-12-...) [21 wks] The notoriously long-running hit was rather long-running here too, but Dance Monkey had "only" 3 weeks at #1 on the Multichart, compared to 11 weeks on the official chart, and 24 weeks in Australia! Still, on the Multichart it had the joint-most top 10 weeks in 2019, with 16, and added two more this year. It would've easily been the EOY #1 had its full chart run been within the calendar year. Instead the #1 is one of the two songs yet to be revealed (well, obviously lol) |

1 1490 Kygo & Whitney Houston - Higher Love (18-4-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-6-8-11-20-23-31-42-xx) [22 wks] I'm not sure what the barf bag is for, Seven? No surprises here, surely! We all knew Higher Love was very highly loved on here and it's one of the most recent inductees to the 10 weeks at #1 club. Shame it couldn't quite get there officially! Billie Eilish put up a close fight though, she'll surely have many more chances for that year-end #1. Can Kygo defend his title this year with the help of Tina Turner? Well, probably not, as the competition is even stronger in 2020. Hopefully 6 months from now we'll be counting down all over again!
