It would be really good to get Move to 300,000 copies and make it their third biggest selling single, it's got a really good chart run!!!

No problem, I store this on my computer so may as well make use of it. Some haven't got yesterdays sales on yet, but I'll try and keep it as updated as possible. I'm personally hoping Wings will overtake Cannonball by the end of 2014.

Yeah it didn't do too badly in the end, but I'm glad it didn't do any better, I may be wrong about this but if Wings overtakes Cannonball they may be the only X-Factor act to top the sales of their winners single, unless Leona managed it with Bleeding Love?

I'm sure she did. If I'm not mistaken Bleeding Love has passed the million mark while A Moment Like This is around the 900k mark?
EDIT: Found it: BLEEDING LOVE – Leona Lewis (2007) 1,071,000 A MOMENT LIKE THIS – Leona Lewis (2006) 900,000 This post has been edited by G R I F F: 30th December 2013, 08:50 PM |

You could very well be right. Topping the XF winners single is pretty incredible, to think of the hype after the show and to be able to sell just as well or even better with a single a year on is pretty good. I would love Wings to get to the 500k mark. I'm quite excited about where Move may end up too as it's selling consistently too.

I think if it continues the way it is, we could well see Move getting to around the 400k range, it'd be great to see them reaching that level with their 2nd era to show that they haven't really dipped to far in popularity. Something which is pretty difficult to do for an X Factor winner (although perhaps easier when their sales aren't quite as high as Leona's for example). |

It's incredible just how consistent they are atm. I'm fairly confident that 'Move' is going to be a 400k-er, before they head into album #3! That'd be a brilliant feat. Not only for an XF winner, but a girl group in this day and age. I'm confident that 'Salute' is going to overtake 'DNA' too!
Also, it's incredible to think that prior to this, the X Factor they featured on was deemed a ratings flop, which headed to a "floppier than the usual" winner's single. The thing that went right? Definitely releasing 'Wings' in the Summer and promoting the second single on their XF return. |

'Little Me' has done 35,855 btw!
It also done around 3,000 (I think) on the week of the album release going in at #77, so i'm guessing it's nearer 40,000. 76 Lady Gaga [Venus] 3,174 124 Lady Gaga [Dope] 1,666 This post has been edited by colinn: 31st December 2013, 05:23 PM |

'Wings' should outsell 'Cannonball' quite soon then. 'Wings' should hopefully pass the 500k mark sometime this year as well. I reckon 'Move' will sell 400k+ eventually.
