Kari Lake thankfully loses in Arizona, so the Dems have made a net gain of 2 governors. (Maryland and Massachusetts, both deep blue states, had Republican governors before for some reason but the northeast seems to just be home to the last traces of somewhat sane Republicans, they both retired and the new Republican candidates were more Trumpy so got defeated easily. Otherwise Dems have just swapped Nevada for Arizona). Another important defeat of an election denier in a swing state.
Still not officially called but Republicans are 99.9% keeping the House now (if they weren't already, the 'Dems come back and barely hold on with strong mail votes in California' alley was always a bit hopium) |

once again, imagine calling oneself a Christian and unironically voting for aborter/absent father/promiscuous fornicator Herschel Walker over literal pastor Raphael Warnock.
Looks like Warnock should be achieving a bigger margin than before based on votes left to count, always nice. |
