I think it is likely we will get to hear the album that Amy was working on so i created a thread to discuss as I am sure new developments regarding it will be revealed in coming weeks and months.

I'd much rather have a 5 track EP or something it means we only get to hear the tracks that were finished and ready to go out in the public domain... Surely the album wasn't completely finished?

I heard that it was actually very near to completion. I heard this from a friend at work today, so I can't say whether they're reliable or not haha.

Last I heard, it was about half complete, but that was in mid/late 2010 (can't really remember) I think so it should have been nearly finished I'd have thought.

i expect they had tonnes of tracks nearly finished but only 7/8 songs were definite for the album.

I wonder how many leftover finish tracks from Frank and Back To Black there are...they could always end up putting some of the ones that were never used on the third album as well, if there werent enough finished tracks from this era...either way if this album materializes it will be very sad to listen to it.

The majority of those unreleased ones from Frank and Back to black are on the deluxe editions of those albums.

hoping that they will be able to release it... would be such a wast if those songs aren't released but then again we won't know fo sho.

Two words: Michael Jackson. Anyone remember his posthumous album? It was terrible, and expectedly so; the songs just didn't have the input of the artist. Without Amy around, I'm afraid of mediocre tracks on an album far different than what she would have envisioned. Then again, the album sounds like it was much farther along than Michael's ever was, so I may be wrong. I'm just hesitant on this one.

I'm sure they will rush release the album. If it's not complete then they would most likely put songs on there that never made the album just to make up the songs, as I'm sure they would want to release as soon as possible before Amys death dies out. look at Michael Jackson with hold my hand and hollywood.
