Amazing
Years & Years - "King" Average Ellie Goulding - "Love Me Like You Do" Boring Sam Smith featuring John Legend - "Lay Me Down" I haven't rated Jess Glynne as she hasn't been confirmed as #1 yet and I haven't rated Mark Ronson because it is actually a 2014 #1 |

This is hard as 'Love Me Like You Do', 'King' and 'Uptown Funk' have all been my upmost favourites at one point.
01. Years & Years - King 02. Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do 03. Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk (feat. Bruno Mars) 04. Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand 05. Sam Smith - Lay Me Down (feat. John Legend) The top 4 are fantastic and I don't find this version of 'Lay Me Down' that bad either (the album version is much better - not to be confused with the solo single mix!). |

1. "Love Me Like You Do"
2. "Uptown Funk" 3. "King" 4 "Lay Me Down" Haven't heard the Jess Glynne track yet, so can't reasonably rank it. |

LMLYD would have been on top of my list but now I connect it with my ex which sort of ruins the memory (unfortunately) so instead it goes something like this:
01. King 02. Hold My Hand 03. Love My Like You Do 04. Uptown Funk 05. Lay Me Down Don't hate any of them but I LOVE 'King', really like 'Hold My Hand' (and absolutely adore Jess Glynne), can't deny the quality of LMLYD or UF but both have been overplayed to death and LMD is much better without John Legend but Sam Smith has been shoved so far down our throats in the past year I can't possibly put him any higher than this. All songs are at least decent though IMO. |

1 Jess Glynne 8/10
2 Years & Years 6/10 (I was a fan of it for literally 3 listens, it's already getting as boring as the rest below it) 3 Mark Ronson was a 9/10 when it was fresh but currently like like a 5/10 4 Ellie Goulding 5/10 5 Sam Smith a number too low to be understood by humans/10 Really average year so far. |

1. King (This is gonna be incredibly hard to beat)
2. Hold My Hand 3. Love Me Like You Do 4. Uptown Funk 5. Lay Me Down The top 4 are brilliant, and that last one is an abomination. Shame that spoils it. |
